    According to that you should be getting 16.3Mb.

    Where are you measuring your speed from?

    What do you mean ? :o

    Erm, that's where I got the stats from <confused>
  • Sure :

    Uptime: 0 days, 1:34:08

    Bandwith (Up/Down)
    [kbps/kbps]: 1,274 / 16,349

    That says that you are synchronised at 16 Mbps Download and 1Mbps upload, what website are you using to run your speedtest? and are you using a wireless or wired connection on the computer running the test?

    Have you been on the O2 forum? Great place for info if it's anything like the Be broadband forum.

    I'm using speedtest.net. and I get the same reading from a wired and wireless connection.
    Oh, and that site says my ISP is 'Be' (not 02).

    <even more confused>

    Be/O2 are the same network so thats understandable.

    On speedtest are you sure that you are selecting the recommended test server location?

    Ok my line stats show a synchronised rate of 6Mb - Speedtest.net shows this.

    What server are you using - Derry is usually the default and it's rubbish. Change to Maidenhead or London and do another test.

    It will do - O2/Be is the same.

    I agree.

    They have been helping me out these last few days. I'm new to ADSL - been a cable customer for 13 years, most of which with BB.
