You can see she has snagged it already :rotfl:! I know she will ruin it with her claws but it was knit for her. If you can't have a fancy cushion when you're 16 - why not?!:o

Nigellas chilli jam - relatively easy to make! I have had the ingredients since christmas so am proud of myself.

I made some of this using my HG chillis, and put a jar into DH's stocking ;) We had it for tea and it was delicious. Had a kick without Scotch bonnets in

Love the kitty and the cushion, btw!

I am about to have some now!

yes i completely underestimated the power of the bonnet..... I added it in as well as the listed chilli. oops. Hope it's not so hot it's ruined! It was you sort of pushd me to do it as i remember asking you about it before! Does the taste change over time? I even sterilised my jars, and had them puff up so they will pop when opened. Isn't it amazing how these things entertain me.

Right ive not even had dinner as i wanted to finish that cushion! Am going to slice some pork and wheaten with some chilli jam!:j:D:eek:

Geesh thanks :D Im terribly pleased myself.

Fingers crossed for Miss Gunsandbanjos. x
Sorry to hear about your DD Hester, And,erm, sorry you still can't hear. :o

I've been knitting too this evening. Lacking in concentration so I'm sticking to simple moss stitch hairbands for the girls which I'll embellish with felt flowers and buttons.
I ended up giving them all a starter of baked camembert and brushetta which was reduced in the Co-op so we all had smaller portions of tuna pasta so that will do mine and OH's lunch tommorrow. ;) I've just made the girls some cheese and crackers, HM yoghurt and smoothies for their pack ups.
I got all the ironing done this afternoon in front of a cheesy film. :j Thought I was finished with the laundry but OH brought the dog in from her muddy walk and let her straight up on the fabric sofa so that was stripped and is drying in front of the fire.
Managed to make contact with one of the clients who owes us alot of money. He informs me that he is abroad and uncontactable until Monday.:rolleyes::mad:
I'm not impressed that I am wondering how to pay next months' bills while he is off on his jollies. icon8.gif
We have always had contingencies for times like this but no amount of savings could have prepared us for so many people simply not paying their bills so our belts are tightened to corset point.

oops... That was a bit of a whine wasn't it? :o:p:rotfl:

Sleep well everyone. I hope no one has nightmares about Zippy's cat.......

Ring him back & ask what time his flight gets in so you can meet him & relieve him off his currency to pay your bills?

Seriously, I couldn't cope the way that you do with people like that... I'd be swearing like a trooper! But then again when I worked in accounts years ago, I was never any good at credit control and would believe any sob-story as an excuse for not paying.

Zippy, well done, I'm impressed you're making such good use of your time during your sabbatical!

Haribo, don't know what to say, but you have my every sympathy. Someone who owed my OH a lot of money, and was pleading poverty, bought a Caravanette / RV thing and then showed it off, as if it was perfectly normal!!!!!

As for the whole BF debate, I personally wouldn't have done it any differently, and BF both the boys, but know loads of fantastic mums who didn't and still had happy healthy kids.

Don't have much else to say, for a change, the boys are back at school. MIL is not very well with another chest infection. She looks quite worried this time, and called the Doc out, which is very unusual for her, so am a bit more worried than usual, I can see her fading away with every infection she gets - she spends more time on antibiotics than off them now.

Hope everyone is OK, see you all tomorrow!
