    Afternoon All :hello:
Well we had our first real big snow last night. School is closed apart from those taking exams. Son has got his tomorrow but it is a walkable distance. The main road (which is only around the corner) is pretty clear but it is getting to it which is the problem. Have walked with DS into town this morning and feet were like blocks of ice. Managed to pick up a couple of bargains in Monsoon in their 70% off department – a cardigan for a friend for her Birthday and DS insisted on buying me a cardigan that I fancied (no doubt he will get it back tenfold)
Have cleaned bathroom and showerroom and taking time for a cuppa to try and warm up. Really fancy some HM chips today but have to rifle through the freezer to see what I have to go with them
Diva – My cat turned 14 in September and he is so fussy with his food it is untrue. He seems to have changed character over the last twelve months and now constantly likes to be on your lap. He is Siamese so extremely vocal and seems to be getting worse. Have been having a lot of health problems with him lately and dread the thought of losing him. Could you give me that recipe for your sausage stuffing balls - I love stuffing but never make my own and think it is about time I did
Toochoosey – Do you rent OH out Could do with some chest of drawers being put back together here :D
Tired mum - Good luck to DD in her exam
Pipkin71 – Hope you are feeling better soon
Pippa.S – Sad news on your friends Mum ((((hugs))))
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints - the sinners are much more fun ;)

    Afternoon all

Still snowing here, litte flakes have been falling all morning but only amounted to about an 1" on top of what we have lying.

Nice easy morning invigilating. I've been tidying round, dealing with post etc since getting home.

OS I've got a large pot of veg soup cooking so I will have a bowl of that next.

Hoping to get a bit of paperwork done after lunch and then 20 minutes of pilates (my legs are aching too much too do wii skiing today:o) before collecting DS3 from school - tennis club is cancelled so he'll be sad. Expecting footie practise to be off too

Oooh and I sold 6 eggs :j I was asked how much, I said I hadn't worked it out yet, give me a mo............turns out they didn't have a mo (lol) so shoved £1.50 in my hand  :D

My neighbours sell eggs at £1.50 for 6. I'd love to have chickens but only for the eggs (as I'm scared of chickens:o) also we don't really have enough space. How do cats get on with chickens

I've only read P1 so far so will catch up with the rest of your news later.

Have you tried a thick layer of handcream/olive oil before you put your gloves on? Especially if you are washing up etc, the heat from the water makes the oil or cream penetrate the skin, so you get a mini beauty treatment and the kitchen gets clean :D

What a good idea - I'll give it a go! I also think I'll go out and get some Neutrogena and see how I get on with it.

    Many thanks everyone!!!
