I'm left paying for my ex bf's PC. Advice wanted

No I haven't sent a letter saying that I don't want the money. I've saved all his abusive text messages.
I'm sure him and his family feel like they've won but to be honest I really don't care anymore. I just hope I never see or hear from them again.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
As I've now managed to reduce monthly payments to all of my creditors, including HFC for the PC I'd rather just pay for it myself than have to deal with my ex every day. He's gone (hopefully!), maybe now I can finally get my life back on track.
You're all so helpful on here. I'm really thankful for all your replies. I'm so glad I found MSE!I'm never alone anymore.

Its a pity you didn't feel you could carry on, but things happen for a reason and we all learn hard lessons various ways. You are free of him completely which is what you want right now.
I'm a believer in karma and he will get his just desserts one day - I only hope you get to hear of it!
I wouldn't have thought the guy is right in the head so you are better off without him and if it took the price of a computer to see that - it was money well spent. All his nastiness can fester inside of him now he hasn't got you to vent it on.
Sorry to hear about you grandma, hope she improves/feels better.0 -
PS I still love the stone and brick idea!!0
