I dont see P2Go offering the usual ---
"............ Im sorry to hear of the lost of your parcel I can assure you this is not a typical experience of Parcel2go.com and less than 0.02% fail to arrive at their destination with our services, however when you fall into this bracket it’s no help at all, however I would like to look into this further for you and if you could forward me the P2G number to support@parcel2go.com FAO George and include the P2G number and quote ‘Money Saving Expert.com’ in the subject line I will look into this in detail and get back to you with a response. Kind Regards George Iveson https://www.parcel2go.com..............."
Cant even be bothered, can they!
I think that they have gotten too big to care and too many folk are dependent on them. Such a common occurrence.
What will (Should) happen is that a rival will take their business and P2Go start grovelling for your custom - usually too late. Then P2go folds. They go down and take their snotty staff with them.

They have done it again.my £700 laptop has gone undelivered.
Sent on 26th June to laptopsdirect (trojan electronics ltd) for replacement after 3years ownership, parcels2go claim it has been delivered to them and signed for by "culp".the electronic signature is also a squiggle.i suspect it has been delivered also to the wrong address (bcg computers)by them.both computer companies are only 200 yards apart with similar postcodes.i only discovered on 19th of July that it had not been delivered to laptops direct.according to parcels2go the driver has confirmed that it has been sent to the correct address. Today I contacted parcels2go once more to reveal to them that I had spoke to laptopsdirect and discovered that only last week parcels2go had to recollect from bcg computers a laptop wrongly sent to bcg computers by them.then the online operator disconnected me from our talk.
Everything has been difficult with parcels2go and the thought that I may have wrongly been blaming laptopsdirect pains me.
At this moment in time it looks like I am not going to ever see my £700 laptop ever again.
Next step will be the police and I am currently trawling the Internet looking for other similar issues involving missing laptops via parcels2go,with a very high success rate.
This is not a missing or a lost item to me IT IS THEFT plain and simple.0 -
Nick_Bunstone wrote: »Hello all,
I enjoyed reading all of your posts about Parcel2Go.com Limited. I too have recently had problems with them. My story is very similar to all of yours:
1. Sent 7 parcels to the same recipient - all picked up on time by Yodel.
2. All get split up and sent to the wrong depots.
3. 6 parcels get delivered over the course of 5 days, at different times and 1 parcel becomes lost (read; stolen).
I then went down the line of Live Chat and submitted my online claim. Long story short, they said that there was a problem with my photo of the internal packaging. Yeah, I don't have a picture of the inside of the box I sent. Big surprise! This is clearly a delaying tactic as many of you have mentioned previously.
As I don't like my claim being on their terms I have today issued Court Proceedings (I am a solicitor by trade) but I just used the convenient online application.
I can upload a copy of my claim if anyone is interested. I will keep you updated with how things progress. They currently have 14 days to respond to my claim.
My claim is for a total refund of the amount I paid for delivery and insurance cover, the actual insurance cover and a percentage of the cost of the items in my consignment. The total is £275 including the Court Fee (£25).
I also feel that I should just let the police know about my potentially stolen item and also inform Trading Standards about the continually shoddy service.
I'd be really interested how you get on with this and how to go about it myself. I have two outstanding cases with them:
1)
I used myHeremes via Parcel2go, to pickup and deliver to myself a new pushchair. The courier delivering to myself, decided to leave the new item in it's card board box outside the door of my warehouse in the rain, on a friday evening (out of work hours). I'm amazed it was still there when I came into work on Tuesday for a startThis was the Jubilee weekend and if anyone remembers, the rain we had that weekend, will understand just how soggy the parcel was 4 days later! I'm amazed it was still there when I came into work on Tuesday for a start. It was also left in a non-secure, totally unprotected place, and was totally saturated and ruined. It can no longer be retailed, which is my business.
This was a £300 pushchair and although I didn't take out insurance, I think this shows a horrific lack of duty of care! They offered me £20 in compensation! Tried to speak to some and it was like banging your head against a brick wall.
2)
The second package, that i DID have insurance on, came back damaged, so I dutifully put in my claim. It then said on the My Account page on their website "awaiting good will decision", which seemed odd as i paid the insurance and surely having insurance negates the need for "good will". Anyway, a little time passed and then i received an email saying " claim rejected due to “Packaging not adequate”". Now I find this particularly annoying as the packaging was the manufacturers supplied packaging! We are talking about one of the biggest suppliers of car seats in the world, and is how every supplier in the country dispatches this type of good!
So, I would love to know if anyone has successfully launched a legal claim against this company, how much it cost, and how to do it?0 -
Their motto is:- I couldn't care less about your package, just give me the money.
I bought an oven from a supplier who imports these from Italy. I waited 10 weeks for the oven to arrive. I then contracted parcel2go to courier this item from the supplier in England to me in France. They used Fedex as their contractor. The oven cost £332, and I paid extra insurance to cover this, so all in all it was about £400.
The item was delivered quickly enough - DAMAGED. The driver informed me of this before I saw it for myself. I mistakenly refused delivery, as I thought it would go against me if I accepted it.
I then got onto the "more than hopeless" chat line to tell them that my package was damaged and I wanted to make a claim. They informed me that I should have accepted it, so that I could take photographs of the damage. They then stated that they would arrange for it to be redelivered in 2 days.
Well, what they say and what they do is a totally different matter. I went on that chat line for 2 solid weeks, and every time, they said they would get onto the courier to redeliver. All I got was automated replies, and had to relate my story every time I went on there because no one knew what was happening. I sent in my claim to Toni Kay - Claims Advisor, who repeatedly ignored my emails. I waited in every day, even though I have a business to run, and still no delivery.
After coming to the end of my tether and getting very stroppy, I finally accepted delivery of the damaged package, and as requested, sent photographs of the damage by email. Again this was unacknowledged.
On the chat line again to ask what was happening, and as per usual, no one seemed to know about all my emails.
To cut a long story short. It has taken 2 months for them to tell me that they are not prepared to pay me anything. They say that because my item contained glass, I am not covered. What I say is. They ask on line what the item is. All ovens have glass doors, so they knew this. They even took more money for extra insurance, even though they say I was not covered. They should not have taken this.
They know from the beginning that they will not be paying out. They are quick to take, but don't like paying out, even though I am sure they have massive insurance cover.
So, I have lost £400, but I am not going to let this go. I will take them to the Small Claims Court, and also send all my correspondence (I printed every chat line conversation) and other details to Watchdog because I think the public have a right to know about their dodgy dealings.
I hope they get their just desserts - I am so bloody angry.0 -
So now starting to worry after reading this forum.
I have been using parcel2 go for a while and had no problems couple of missed collections but nothing major.
Well everything has just come tumbling down now big time all at once.
I have one parcel that I have had to put through claims process seemed easy enough after a bit if tooing and throwing on live chat, my claim was approved success no where is the agreed money ?
Next I am currently living overseas temporarily so decided to send myself 2 boxes took out extra insurance filled in all the right forms. Driver picks them up and away he goes says I don't need paperwork as I have my tracking number. Didn't think nothing of it as that seemed the norm. My parcels are however now stuck in Madrid apparently with not the correct paperwork which all 20 pages were provided or I need to supply a vat number. These are my personal items I scream I am running out of clothes.why would I need a vat number. I have had the obligatory we will get back to you but nothing. The parcels are still in Madrid and I am now worrying about never getting them and if I have to claim what proof can I supply of what was in there. I insured them for 500 plus courier fees of nearly 200 and something's are not replaceable.
My third parcel cheap in comparison is listed as can't be found at the depot. So onto live chat I go again only to be told we not have an update on this yet. What this is the first time I have queried this particular parcel he then says I don't understand. Well turns out all of the queries have amalgamated into one someone has put notes to parcel 1 under parcel 3 e.t.c. I then go to type something about what happens now and surprise surprise he as gone. Why ? Because he clocked of at 11.00 didn't he.
To be honest I just want the second parcel sorted out as it is my personal effects and it is getting quite upsetting. But what else can I do?
I am sick of welcome to parcel2 go how can I help and can you give me a minute or two ggggggrrrrrrr0 -
Sent two items via parcel2go /yodel after being sent to the wrong buyers one item was damaged and they wont pay out. In short i am a small non business seller and cant afford these kind of mistakes from yodel or poor customer service from parcel2go. BE WARNED!!0

Recently sent a very well packaged PC base unit to a customer via Yodel through Parcel2Go. Customer wasn't home so the Yodel delivery driver saw fit to drop the parcel over a 6 foot gate onto hard ground and leave it to the elements. Needless to say the base unit suffered heavy impact damage and was beyond repair.
The P2Go operators were beyond useless and would not even provide me with the managing director's email address and told me I would have to write to him.
Sent a letter nearly a month ago via recorded delivery, which was received and signed for, but they have not even afforded me the courtesy of a reply.
I will be taking this to the small claims court.
In the meantime I've been using an alternative called myParcelDelivery and so far I've been impressed. Better rates too.0 -

Parcel2Go
Four experiences of parcel2go. first parcel I sent contents smashed I blamed my poor packing possibly.
Second parcel smashed to bits even the investigator said I had a claim, the driver accepted no responsibility so carriage refund only.
Third parcel to me not on time but the sender picked up on it quick when alerted and it arrived very late.
Forth parcel supposed to have been delivered today had I known the sender would use them I would'nt have bothered I thought it was late due to snow. Ive checked with the few neighbours we have in this hamlet no parcel.
Tried to communicate with P2G why did I bother.Parcel is probably lying in a hedge somewhere.
They are rubbish could'nt care less they've had the cash so you can whistle.Don't use them they are totally irresponsible.0
