I found loads of recipies online. I found many too sweet, I prefer nice and creamy. So my recipe is:
1ltr UHT milk (as it's room temperature I find it works better)
90g Pudding Rice
60g Caster Sugar (reduced from 90g)
Mix together, sprinkle nutmeg. Cook for 5 hours. I find stiring at least half an hour before serving helps thicken it up.
I find it feeds 4 nicely (not loads though, just enough).
Hope you enjoy itWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -

Made a self saucing chocolate pudding on Sunday, just for something different, never made a pud before.
Went well and recipe below which was in USA "cups" so I improvised and used a actual cup, that holds about half a pint in liquid form.
Only slight problem was my reading of the cooking bit, I thought it said 2 and half hours on low, it said high and so I welded a inch or so of pud to the pot. Because it ended up being on for 5 hours instead of 2. Its only just come off today.:o
Easy to do and very tasty, fed 5 on the day with a bit for leftovers, and very sorry if this is already posted somewhere.
3-oz butter
¾ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup superfine sugar
1½ cup self-rising flour
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 egg, beaten lightly
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 Tbsp cocoa powder, extra
2½ cup boiling water
DIRECTIONS
Grease 4½ -quart slow cooker bowl.
Melt butter in milk over low heat in medium saucepan. Remove from heat; cool 5 minutes. Stir in extract and sugar, then sifted flour and cocoa, and egg. Spread mixture into cooker bowl.
Sift brown sugar and extra cocoa evenly over mixture; gently pour boiling water evenly over mixture. Cook, covered, on high, about 2½ hours or until center is firm.
Remove bowl from cooker. Stand pudding 5 minutes before serving.63 mortgage payments to go.

Seems such a good price but I see they have the Morphy Richards one in the sale too.
I've never used one before (it will be just for one or two people).
