Just lent my dad my small slow cooker to experiment with. So he will be trying some casseroles. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0

Hi
I have a rice pudding in the slow cooker, use this recipe below; chuck it all in and cook on high for around 5 hours - will give it a little stir after an hour. Will serve mine plain today with just a bit of grated nutmeg.
Ingredients
Serves: 4
110g (4 oz) pudding rice
55g (2 oz) sugar (granulated or caster)
25g (1 oz) margarine
1.2L (2 pints) of milk (whole, semi skimmed or skimmed)
1/2 teaspoon of cinamonCat :wave:0 -

Kasesuppa (German Cheese Soup)
Didn't work, I think it needed to be on high all day to get it hot enough to melt the cream cheese (which I added 45 minutes before the end). So I ended up transferring it to the stove for 10 minutes to get it got enough!!We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like.
