So excited, I can post in this thread for the first time ever, as I got a slow cooker this week!
Today in my slow cooker I have ....paprika beef. It's one of the recipes that came with the cooker, and it smells really good ! Can't wait to eat it.
I'll have to go through this thread when I get more time to get ideas and inspiration !Early retired - 18th December 2014

I am dull and cook basically the same thing every time but it always comes out different because I will always forget something. At least you can batch cook things and cheaply.

Pea & Ham Soup
As I have to eat low GI for health reasons it's made with split peas, garden peas, red lentils, carrot, onion, stock and cooking bacon.

My slow cooker meal was a disaster today. Put a joint of beef with various veg and some stock. Now the whole house stinks of booked veg and the meat tastes of nothing but boiled veg!
