So excited, I can post in this thread for the first time ever, as I got a slow cooker this week!

Today in my slow cooker I have ....paprika beef. It's one of the recipes that came with the cooker, and it smells really good ! Can't wait to eat it.

I'll have to go through this thread when I get more time to get ideas and inspiration !

    Welcome to the club.

I am dull and cook basically the same thing every time but it always comes out different because I will always forget something. At least you can batch cook things and cheaply.

I had to rearrange my freezer for all the new meals going in tomorrow. :T

    Pea & Ham Soup

As I have to eat low GI for health reasons it's made with split peas, garden peas, red lentils, carrot, onion, stock and cooking bacon.

The red lentils thicken up so I don't have a need for potato :)

    Whole Chicken

With onion, garlic, carrots, leeks and a stock cube.

I will top up with water and make stock overnight.

My slow cooker meal was a disaster today. Put a joint of beef with various veg and some stock. Now the whole house stinks of booked veg and the meat tastes of nothing but boiled veg! :(

    Ah well...
