i add dumplins about an hour before serving. sounds a very yummy lunch.

i've got a chicken in mine today, wasn't planning on doing that today, but while doing the food shopping yesterday in M&S they were just reducing some meats and i got a lovely oakham chicken for £3. very pleased.

not sure what to do with it yet, maybe a nice chicken pie, or perhaps a pasta dinner.
  • i have a massive ham in apple juice in mine.
Will honey glaze it and bung in the oven later. :D

my chicken isn't gonna be a pie, really coulnd't be bothered to make pastry. made chilli chicken with pasta instead. but loads of chicken left so will make a pie for dinner tomoz. oh i do love slow cooking my chicken. even tho i hate the smell when cooking. i can get so much more meat off. this chicken was only a small was meant to serve 3-4 peeps. but i'll be making 2 meals for 5 as it just falls off the bone. fantastic.
  • Soup in mine. Pearl barley, red lentils, onion, sweet potato, carrotts, celery, 2 tins toms, left over gravy from sunday roast, water and a stock cube. Smells great.
I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order :D.
