That's the one - they know about the problem but apparently can't be bothered to fix it!

I'm trying Mince in mine for the first time today :D

Got it in there with mushrooms, onions and a couple of tins of chopped toms, a sachet of beef and tomato casserole mix :p and some worcestershire sauce.

Smells yum - but didn't get it in til late so if OH is hungry when he gets home I might turn it to Low and have it tomorrow instead :D

Went back to my childhood with this today.

My mum use to pour a tin of uncle ben's tomato sauce over pork chops and bake which we use to have on a bed of rice.

The above that I did today tasted exactly like the sauce -yummy :D

cooked a beef casserole in mine today - nothing special but did get plenty of veg into the family without them realising. no leftovers so it must have been nice - although that's what you get for letting DH serve up, bless!

has anyone had any success cooking rice in their slow cooker? tried some the other day and it went very soggy
    weaving through the chaos...

Just finished chopping the carrots, mine will have dogfood in overnight tonight.

I`ve also been eyeing up the lamb shanks in the freezer so it won`t be too long before those will be in *drools*
