Liver, onions and gravy - I tried to be clever and add some stuffing to the gravy mix for taste and have a croc pot full of mush :o:rotfl:

Just done a piece of beef laying on some shallots and carrots with a little oxo stock, when I had finished cooking the beef I strained out the shallots and chucked them in with the roast pot's mmm lovely!
  • Had chicken chasseur in mine - cheap chicken drumsticks which I browned then put in whole and have now pulled the meat off the bone and put back in. Added cannelinni beans and mushrooms and served with mash and veg and it was really good!!

Have to have mine on in the garage though otherwise the dog gets it :D

If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

I have a chicken with a couple of slices of lemaon in mine today. Probably have with chips tonight and see what takes our fancy tomorrow...
  • Has a disater in mine yesterday! I was looking forward to a lovley sausage casserrole and it totally dried out! Couldn't work it out as I put in lots of liquid. The only thing I can think of is that I used red lentils for the first time and I think they may have sucked up all the water! Has anyone else encountered this?
