Maybe the whole of Morrisons is corrupt, I've seen the ADMs and even the GM doing the same thing. The horror
I couldn't comment on that one, I've never graced the doorway of a Morrisons. In fact I detest supermarket chains in general - they're parasitical entities sucking the life out of local communities and slowly bankrupting small food producers.“Don't do it! I'm also being fairly robust in my view because some of the insults thrown at the Op are outrageous and I like championing the underdog in any fight. As soon as I see pack mentality, such as been shown on here, I get the knives out and start poking
I like a good poke!
anyway.....
I'm not bothered whether it's a perk of the job or not,if it is it is,doesn't bother me,but can understand why some would be annoyed.
But I won't go along with the whole 'she was rude' idea based purely on the assumption that she was psychic, thought the cakes were put back on the self just to be reduced, listend in on the odd conversation with the OPs wife and bought them herself

Nice to see you've got the horn over this thread there Douglas!“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”

I couldn't agree more, the amount of greengrocers/butchers etc that have disappeared since Mr T and Mr M have appeared in my area are ridiculous. I have to go quite a way to find a nice butcher now.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

Must remember to work harder and apply myself then this could lead to me gaining better employment.
Hopefully off minimum wage, as its blinkingly obvious certain people on here seem to think that minimum wage earner equals thick.
That would be because many of the people here commenting on the OP and trying to justify their p*ss-poor attitude to customer service in their own jobs clearly are thick.
Or at least, that's the message they're giving out. Want to be taken seriously? Try not acting like a total muppet, sweetie......0 -
All I can say about this post is Watch the tv. Kids in Haiti eat Mud Cakes daily to fill there starving bodies. Yes good old Mud from the Earth. God compaining because someone pinched your reduced cream cakes. Some people here and abroad dont have the luxury of a decent meal never mind a cream cake reduced or not.
Utterly irrelevant.
If you care that much, why're you here and not on the Save The Children forum?
.....and I'd be interested to see a link to the story about kids eating mud, if you can supply one? Cheers.0 -
