(I did once come out with the line "You look different wearing trousers:o)

Just spent an hour snow clearing (starting with the ridge the snow plough left across my driveway)
My wrists do not like shovelling snow and my right thumb joint is unprintable on the subject.
Really would like to slump, but there are too many things that need tidying.

    Hi again

OMG took this page ages to load and now I know why.. huge pictures.. I thought it was my computer!... :rotfl:So heyyy Jinkypinks.. less of the piccys, we aren't supposed to have them over here!! (see sticky!)

Sunny darling - Thanks for the text and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Big hugs honey.hugs.gif

I don't think it is 'our' PennyPinchers birthday, I think it is just someone with a similar name.. EDITED: I see this has already been pointed out...:rotfl:

Haven't read the thread properly but wanted to welcome all the new flylady posters over here, it's fab to see you all!

My OS-iness so far this morning was to drag the duvet into the lounge to keep me warm rather than turn the fire on, as the homehelp is here and she walks in and out all the time and leaves the doors open so didn't want to waste the heat! Going to tidy the sideboard in a sec and then start to prep lunch. (That's me, not the homehelp!)

hugs to all - keep warm

  • Afternoon peeps

Not had time to read all of thread yet to hugs to all who need them.

I'm back at work, first time after 4 weeks holiday! Straight into a meeting to sort out our yearly planner and I now have 5 weeks leave booked in so I can start looking for my next adventure now I have dates set in stone! :)

I walked into work, few icy patches but ok otherwise. Slight snow outside my window now but it's not sticking. I've started back on Slimming World today so have packed lunch (HM pasta salad, fruit and yogurt). Think tonight dinner will be jacket spud and veggie chilli sauce to warm me up after my walk home tonight!

    have a good day all

    Welcome Flyladies :hello: :beer::D
Diva, my page takes ages to load with pictures too.
Sunnygirl, I am so sorry for your loss.
Hope it's all going well Pooby. Remind me to tell you sometime about the time I drove a 7.5 tonne truck from Wiltshire to Glasgow and back again in a day.
I don't know what their problem was when I returned it . I think it looked better without wing mirrors and the police only intervened once when I got stuck under a low bridge. :D

Had my doctor's appt this morning and then popped to Tesco where I think I got the whole week's shopping for £27. :D I did overspend last week though so the cupboards are full. ;)

Housework is done so I'm cooking this afternoon. Have made a big batch of egg mayo for sarnies for a couple of days and some tuna may for those that won't take eggy lunches.
Tea is easy fish and chips from the freezer as the girls have Brownies and I'll put tommorrow's stew in the SC as I'll be in the office all day tommorrow.
Want to make some apple muffins as well.

    That's all folks.

    Af'noon all

Sunnygirl sorry to hear your news.

DH and I finished emptying the kitchen about half nine last night..I was crippled he was fed up and there's no room anywhere to swing a small mouse let-alone a cat!

DH's mum is taking his two for a few days which means they'll be out of the dust and mayhem, the twins will be in their room or out so that just leaves DD as his mum doesn't take her () and DH at home with the chaos all day.

Tonights dinner is chicken fajitas which I made yesterday before we dismantled everything and I have lentil soup made too. After that it will be pot noodle, toast or microwaveable!

I'm grumpy as sin - I'll blame hormones as obviously I am of sunny disposition (:D) and I think it will get worse before it get better! I'm sure the new kitchen will be worth it..... I always know when I'm having a hormone 'do' - the dead giveaway (apart from being a moody mare) is I start dropping off to sleep at my work desk and I can't remember the word for things..anyone else get this?

The electric box is also getting updated which means I can have my shower wired in :j (you have no idea how long in took me to remember what you called that...I was typing 'electric-ed in' but knew it didn't look right :rotfl:) its been plumbed in for two years....didn't have the capacity in the fuse box to link it up

Its been raining here all morning - its great :D all the snow and slidy bits are away! Hopefully thats the end of it

I ordered a book of ebay of slow cooker recipes ...or so I thought - DH just rang to call me a saddo and ask how much i'd paid for a copy of a cd-rom recipe book

    Live and learn eh?

I'm trying to read this from my phone at work, first day back for three weeks, but can't because of all the pictures and smillies is it possible that if they must be posted that people don't quote them as well, don't mean to bother people but is a problem when using phones.

I did come looking for inspiration for tonights tea but I guess I better check the recipe thread.

scrap that think I'll have baked potatoes and worry about recipes tomorrow.
