Morning All,
Sunnygirl so sorry to hear your news. I hoep you are all OK and taking good care of each other.
Redruby hurrah for move day at last. Hope it goes well
Pennypincher HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Penelope Penguin don't take this the wrong way but that is the creepiest looking snowman I've ever seen, he looks like he's about start walking towards me in a scary Dr Who alien fashion!!:o:rotfl:
Not much OS done around here this weekend as I was doing so much overtime, but DH made bread yesterday, so I suppose that counts. The washing's all up to date, so I need to iron, but I hate that so might try and find something else to do. Need to vacuum, s&s, and do some baking for the tins.
Oldest DS wasn't sick at all yesterday, but was still looking quite poorly when I got in last night, so will keep him home today, just in case - he's still sleeping anyway. Youngest had a temp when he went to bed, so he'll be here too, as I don't fancy the thought of him being sick in school. Actually, he's still asleep too, which is very unlike him, so he must be just as bad, better go and check on him in a mo'.
Hugs to all the other poorlies, and anyone in need, I haven't managed to catch up with yesterday's thread yet, so hope I've not missed anything.
HAve a lovely day.

Morning peeps
very cold here this morning, we wern`t forecast any snow but have had 3 or 4 inches during the night, i`d better get out there pretty soon and start clearing it.
I woke up at just after 4am - can`t you tell i`m on the late shift today
Ears are a lot better painwise but still deaf as a post in one and a bit of hearing in the other, just getting on with it atm and trying to stay positive.
So far so good, i`ve made a big pan of chilli con carne and a pressure cooker of beef stew, the loaf has just come out of the bm and i`ve hung all the washing up on the airer in the spare room. Now that the dishwasher has been emptied i`m having a sit down with a cuppa. I`m feeling quite pleased really - if i`d put the pc on when i first woke up i wouldn`t have achieved half as much.
I have a bag of birdie bits ready in the hallway so my next job is to defrost the bird table and water and sweep away the snow then the birdies can have their breakfast, they have bread too this morning as i`ve just pulled 4 old crusts to pieces instead of using them for stuffing. Their breakfast also consists of cut mixed peel, sultanas, seed, nuts, suet pellets and a robin seed mix with mealworms. We have had so many birds around these last couple of weeks that i need to replenish my stocks.
I`ll wrap up warm then start with the birdies and then move some snow. The doggies will be walked next then i shall clear the rest of the snow.
Next on the list is a hot shower and food before clearing the kitchen and prepping a few things for later and by the time i`ve done that little lot i shall need to leave for w*rk  Busy day and i really should s&s the bathroom too.
Pen pin - Happy Birthday :bdaycake:have a good one!
Sunny girl - So sorry to hear your sad news, my thoughts will stay with you and your family ((((HUGS))))

Morning All :hello: I'm back!
Sunny - so sorry to hear your news
PenPin - Happy birthday chickadee
Redruby - good luck for the move today
Well, lots has been happening with me over the last couple of weeks hence the absencefor which I apologise as I will have missed out on things and not lended my support when it was needed...
I had a rather traumatic experience at my dating scan last Wednesday. I've never had one before and the sonographer couldn't find the baby first of all, and was very surprised when I told her how long ago my last period was and even more shocked when I told her I'd had no bleeding at all. She finally managed to locate the bean and saw a heartbeat, but she didn't measure it and told me to come back in two weeks. Needless to say, this sent me and DH home in absolute shock thinking all sorts of stuff. Followed by that I woke up the following morning with no sickness and no sore boobs at all so I was thinking the worst! I rang the midwife and she was very supportive and took the time to explain (despite the fact it was only her in that day because of the snow) that because I was only 7 weeks it was unlikely that the sonographer would get a good measure on the bubba and standard practise to ask me to come back in two weeks! The relief has been palpable and I've been worrying every time I wake up and don't feel sick or my boobs aren't sore, but this morning (first day back at work!) I feel sick as a dog .
Anyway, what an essay! OS wise, I haven't been up to much - even meal planning has gone a bit out the window as I don't fancy anything at all. The only thing I like eating at the moment is tomato soup out of a tin - nothing homemade  Tea tonight will be bubble and squeak with l/o roast chicken, but I've not made any lunch for DH and I today as I just couldn't think of anything to bring that I would fancy... Any suggestions please? I don't want to end up busting my budget just because I'm pregnant
Hugs to all, have a lovely snowy, os'y day xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,
What you've been out there searching for forever is in your hands0 -
to PennyPincher, hope you have a great day:T
Sunnygirl very sorry to hear the sad news but it is good that she had a peaceful journey and that her family were with herto you all.
Well we had snow overnight and it is still snowing now:rolleyes:. DS is off ill with his cold so I have had to have an unpaid day from work. When I rang school they were not opening till 10 anyway, whats all that abouteither they can open or they cant.
Very cold here today. Will be having the chicken pie tonight that I made yesterday but no one wanted:rolleyes:. I ended up going to bed at 7.30 last night as was so exhausted, DS made me scrambled egg on toast for supper as we had no tea. DS settled eventually at about 9.
Will try to get the ironing up to date while off today and maybe get some baking done, depends how DS is.
Ruby hope everything goes well for the housemove and you and your family are very happy there
Lowesy I think everyone finds pregnancy a very anxious time....hugs. I craved Tomato soup and Tomato juice with DS, didnt eat much else for the whole 9 months due to nausea and vomiting....maybe there is something in tomatoes which makes 11lb babies:rotfl::o
Zippy you asked yesterday about the crochet magazine....I have been looking in shops with no luck..there is a link on the crochet thread for the art of crochet mag website and I subscribed there....will only get the first few mags then stop it0 -
