    Good morning everyone

Sunny Girl - No words are adequate at this sad time. ((((hugs)))) to all your family

Redruby - Hope all goes well with the move. Love and happiness in your new home

MSD - If you weren't so far away I'd love to be your cleaner!! I hate my own housework but love doing other peoples, it just isn't the same at all! DD always tells my DGS, "Leave it Nan will be here soon and she'll be disappointed if theres nothing to do!!"

Well we are starting to thaw here thank goodness, so I think the daily walk will start happening again. Just got to do about 10 miles to catch up with lost time!

Dinner today will be Gammon egg and chips (yum). Left over gammon from yesterday. I even made my own yorkies!! Yes, I know thats what I should do, but I must admit I've been lazy and the Bist* ones are so yummy.

Take care everyone, keep warm x

Good morning everyone  We had a lovley weekend, and made a snowman

We cooked for friends who came for supper, and made Florentines to take to another friend's party :j

Supper today will be chick pea and mushroom curry, with Indian snacks leftover from our Christmas Eve party ;)

I've got a long Flylady list today, and I'm trying to grab an hour of needlework for myself every day. I've knitted a big Wensleydale wool jacket for DD to keep her warm on the way to college, so I'm finishing that atm, and needlepointing some cyclamen for a cushion. Not to mention my crochet scarf ...............

Condolences to you and yours Sunnygirl.

Have a productive Old Style day, everyone :j

    Morning all

Sunnygirl - Sorry to hear about your MIL but at least you can all take comfort that she is no longer suffering and is free of pain, love and hugs to you all.

Dark and still snowy and icy here but no new snow fall overnight, thank goodness. Forecasts look like we should not get anymore snow fall for a day or so but will be getting a very icy artic wind - great! Now my birthday celebrations are finished it's back to reality - work today, tomorrow and Wednesday morning. It's actually quite nice to get back to normal - have had quite alot to eat and drink since last Thursday so am pleased to get back to eating normally etc as I know I've put a bit of weight on and want to get back on track - have had a great time though so not regretting it!

OH back on early starts at the mo so he was up and away at 5am - did wake me so made a coffee which I took back to bed and then went back to sleep until it was time to get up.

Have meal planned for this week, so tonights dinner will be gammon, egg, pots and veg, leftover birthday cake, xmas biscuits etc - I'll just be having main course and possibly a piece of fruit.

Will be putting washing on airer to dry in a mo as heating on so am trying to take advantage of this instead of using TD. Like many others am dreading getting next gas bill as heating seems to have been on continously for weeks now, but I did have a sizeable credit balance so will have to wait and see. Have to go now and get ready for work.

Take care those in the snow. Keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.

Thanks BB, we've got a bit bigger budget but still need to juggle names!

Sunnygirl, I'm sorry for your loss.

I've got a technical question - if I make leek & bacon puddings, do I make them greaseproof lids with foil or muslin tops? I need to know as I've promised OH that I will make some this week!

    Good morning

Sunnygirl sorry for your loss, but glad the end was peaceful and your DH and his sister were able to be there.

I shall be striking out in half an hour to take Grumpy to school. He's not a bit happy about having to go after 3 weeks off! I should do all sorts of stuff when I come home, but I'm stll rather under the weather, so I may just go back to bed.

    Take care all of you.
