any advice? i have had no email from them, i applied on wednesday on the internet.is there a phone number to check on new account applications made over the internet at all.
You could try ringing them on their 0800 015 4000 number, if they can't help you on that one, they'll be able to give you the correct one. As I recall, I didn't get email confirmation for any of the Vantage accounts I opened.0 -

They don't send email confirmations. I saw mine set up online after about 6 days, and the Welcome Pack arrived in the post the next day. I reckon you should give it few more days before worrying0 -
Yes, I shall use this only as a savings account & swap £1000 in & out via my main account. No need to send their signature mandate off then I think
:beer:God save the King!
I'll save Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, J. M. W. Turner and Alan Turing.0 -

I see that they are changing the T + C s w.e.f. the second of December 2010. Overdraft fees are changing, (that's not going to affect us is it ?) but, "you'll no longer receive 0.1% AER/Gross* credit inerest on amounts over £7000."
Oh well, that's my retirement put back another 36 hours.0 -

OK I am a little confused about this thread. I have a loyds account which I beleive is a classic vantage. I was told when I created the account that the difference between a classic and a classic vantage was that on the vantage one you earn interest. I asked what the interest rate was and was told 0.1% With this in mind I do not understand what all this fuss is about having multiple acounts. Can somebody please explain.
Sorry if this seems a bit dense I just seem to be missing something completly.....I think. Here to help and be helped!0 -

The Classic with Vantage earns tiered interest of up to 4% AER for balances between £5K & 7K, other tiers shown HERE.0
