Arghhh, just in! No cleaning again today - that's 2 days in a row - couldn't get away early from work as had a bit of a crisis on that needed sorted.

Although, am pleased to say that have managed to do a few cursory bits n bobs to improve, such as make the lunch for tomorrow, S&S the kitchen etc. Every little helps I suppose.

need to get down and dirty tomorrow night to catch up!

    Hi everyone

I didn't go to work today as I still have a terribly stiff neck and felt dizzy and a bit sick. Went to GP's as a precaution, as suspected it will hurt for a few days but then should start to improve.

Oh hugs AnW's - is it some sort of whiplash?

Dorastar - if that's what you want for your birthday then ask for it! If you think it's more appropriate then ask them just for some money then gather it all together and donate where you wish

Dora.. what are you saving up FOR??? Could you say you would love the money to add to your savings for said item? New sofas, new bed, new carpet..??? I'm sure that would get you to your goal quicker.

I am going to declutter the fridge of ham in a minute and half a loaf of bread.. I am absolutely starving.. AGAIN!.. Cold weather is such fun, I eat like 10 bears just to keep my body temp normal I'm sure. I am still being very good though and haven't devoured gallons of chocolate the last week and am feeling much less weird.. though I didn't realise I had felt a little better until I felt worse again today. I had to stop in tesco 3-4 times and hang on to the trolley or OH just to stay upright.. I have discovered though when he hugged me really tightly I felt better almost immediately and it lasted a little longer than usual.. issue there being he is 13 inches taller than me so it was my head that got squeezed lol

Ok.. food here I come... and I'll sort a couple of bits to ebay this weekend in accordance with the list.. :D

Dorastar I think that's the nicest birthday present a person could wish for.

I can't remember what I got for Xmas a couple of years ago, except for my African Chickens!!! You'll remember the generosity for ever and be pleased you were able to offer some hugely needed support.

Pigpen - really sorry, no boys of that age. Have you tried social services for a welfare grant or something perhaps???

Piggers, unfortunately not able to help re a 12/13 year old boys stuff, you do have a big family though can any of those help?

If anything does occur to me then I'll shout.

What are you signed off sick for? Did they say?

Flying wise, more washing and drying done.

My friends son did the same with dirty sheets, following advice (from a friend of mine who is the most knowledgable person on the spectrum I have ever met) and 2 ladies on the spectrum suggested a dirty sheet. It's kind of vile, but he has one dirty (inc pee sometimes) sheet left in his bed. It's mad but it works. He pees, deliberately, on things that smell of a strong perfume/fragrance....inc his 'friend' from school who decided to put on some aftershave. The only thing he doesn't pee on if it smells of bleachy/clean is the pool at school. Lovely child. Just a shame his step Dad has a bit of a germs OCD.....not a good combo.

Decluttered some CB hash, so pleased I made extra. Forgot I'd turned heating off to get hot water to work for DP, which still took a while...no wonder it was feeling much colder in here. All clean/dry laundry now folded, small pile left to take upstairs as got to do it in bits, saving back meds for bed. Boys uniforms sorted, need to get DS2s swimmies (DS1 never went so will just swap the trunks) incase they decide to take them tomorrow.

Hmmm just one thought RE clothes for the young man, my friend has her nephew at present as noone would take him in, she's getting foster carers allowance for having him, is that worth looking into for the family?
One day I might be more organised...........
