  • Could I join please, my house is in need of something. My baby (youngest of 3) has just started school so thought I would have loads of time for decorating, gardening and doing loads of excercise. However been offered a bit more work so seem to spend all my time off trying (and failing) to get on top of housework. Thanks.

Rach - top news about DH's exams - you definitely need to open the champers! Tonight! Before you do any blue sticks......;)

    :rotfl:

I almost texted you from the train this morning as I was so mad when no one gave me their seat, and I was so tempted to use the stick as a weapon as you suggested!!

I've spent the last FIVE HOURS doing interview coaching for someone who has an interview tomorrow. I need to find food and get some writing done before bed. I plan on going to the gym 11-12 tomorrow, so I'll have to dig through any remaining snow (fingers crossed it all melts before I have to go out!). I've also got a call to prepare for in the morning, so I HAVE to get this writing done tonight. The good thing is I did lots of tidying while doing the interview coaching.

I'll catch up properly later/tomorrow, and hopefully get a bit of flying done at the weekend....

    Wipe and replace small appliances
    Declutter and wipe work surfaces
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop floors
    Wipe units/appliances
Clear and wipe window sills.. do not put back the junk.. bin it!
    Level Three
Tidy, clear and wipe the top of the fridge and freezer
Clean one small appliance thoroughly.. microwave

DS2 caked.. he is 15 tomorrow and we won't get chance as he is off to his dads. He can have presents when he gets in from school.

I want to get the boys beds stripped and put clean duvet covers and duvets on and their new curtains up tomorrow.. have to do it when DS3 is out otherwise he will have a breakdown and refuse to sleep in the room ... again... He barely slept for 3 days when I threw his torn duvet in the bin.. he refused to use it so was freezing!

    Bunnies have been cleaned out..
    bins emptied
    recycling out
    composting out
    2 loads in WM
    2 loads in TD
1 load in DW but another will be needed tonight as we have no plates for breakfast

    FRIDAYS LIST IS UP!!

    My Friday list

    WM
    TD
    DW
    Laundry folded and away
    DS2 presents
    poo tray emptied
    Loos cleaned.. icky things!
No doubt more recycling/composting/rubbish to be flung.
Sort ebay ended listings (5 have bids at the mo) and relist Sunday if needed
10 more items listed ready to upload. I am saving up.. :p

if anyone has any boys stuff 12-13 they are flinging.. my uncle has just had to take in my cousin as his mum is unwell and he has nothing.. they haven't sorted out money issues so other than socks and pants they haven't been able to afford anything else for him... of course this is the uncle who is married to the aunt who is having chemo and radiotherapy for bowel cancer so it is pretty stressful at the moment.. I would love to help clear out your house! :p

DS3 is wearing DS2's stuff this size so we haven't really got anything much to spare.

My mother did ask me to ask you all.

Pigpen, when DS1 was worse with the change of beds (and before I got matching sets to rotate which he can still tell the difference butttttttt......he's better than he was) I used to strip them and remake very first thing. He helped get the sheets off. I did take the bottom sheet off, vacuum and put it back but it helped deal with that 'issue'. I can wash/dry replace them all in the same day IF I use the TD.....which is on the blinkypoo. We're not past the 12-13 stage here yet, can your mother try freecycle/freegle (knowing you have had issues with there) small mens stuff won't be far off either as it's the size I've started to get DS2.

greenbee bless you that is ages but I bet the person is really grateful to you for it
