Hi everyone, things still busy here so having trouble keeping up but I've set aside this evening to catch up with you all xx

Put on 0.5lb this week, mainly due to having too many points over the weekend. My parents came to stay so we had a few glasses of wine and a couple of extra little cakes - main meals were WW though so damage limitation I think !

I've got 11lb to lose before 12th April so going to really go for it now. I've some exercise planned for tomorrow (stepper and DVD) - going to try and do it twice a week for the moment as I'm soooooooo busy with other things I just can't seem to find the time to do anything.

Also having a bit of a wardrobe/style/self-image malfunction at the moment so I'm going to be brave and hop over to the fashion chat thread to see if the lovely ladies can give me some much needed advice on what to wear ! I'm despearate ! lol

I've not had chance to skim read so well done to all those who've lost weight and comiserations for those that haven't - keep with it !

Catch up with you all later xx
    :jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j

    Please feed back!

I used to eat normally, by the day that you're getting weighed you've either been good or not! x

  • Very surprised, some how managed to lose another 2lb this week despite not tracking for 2 days (going out for a meal one of those days and an indian takeaway the other :o) Bit shocked really, was worried that I may have put weight on. Takes my total weight loss to 1st 2lb :j So pleased!

Just had some WW hula hoops - dissapointed :( don't like them at all!

Tell me about it! They are so rubbish, more like cardboard hoops. Tesco's Light Choices Potato Thins are 1 point from memory are they are really lovely, you could try those?

I don't see the point in eating nothing. If you are sick for example, or your stomach is otherwise empty you will weigh about 6lb less but this won't be fat, you won't lose a dress size and you won't look any different. You'll also put it all back on again in minutes. You're only kidding yourself! If you carry on as normal then you'll get a better idea of how your weight loss is progressing.

It could also go against you - let me explain. My sister had novovirus over the weekend and lost 9lb in one day; all stomach contents I imagine! Grim. Anyway, come the weigh in on Thursday, she'd lost 4.5lb altogether (i.e. put 4.5lb back on by eating and having an almost full stomach once again) however next week she's likely to have a sts or a gain and that's de-motivating (i've had one, it was the first time and the only time and i felt really blah!), although it's not her fault. I don't see why you would want to do that to yourself on purpose?! Better to be honest this week, and then next week you'll be able to see the loss.

I WI at 6pm so I eat normal all day but I have my tea when I get home only cause I don't have time to cook before I went to first WI so I've stuck to it. Then when I get home I have tea but don't count or weigh food then back on track the next day.
