  • Well it's my WI tomorrow and im scared stiff - I think I'm going to have a STS again, even though i've stuck to my points and done exercise. Hmmph! :(

I'm just munching on some butterkist cinema sweet popcorn. I found it in HomeBargains for 89p :D I worked it out as 1.5pts per 20g..is that right?!? I seem to be getting quite a lot for 1.5pts!

I always see the WW magazines in Tesco but never purchase as I'm damned to pay so much for a magazine..however I am tempted by the recipes. Is it a monthly or weekly mag? I guess I could save up my change and buy it every now and then...

It's a monthly one, and i buy it purely for the recipes, they look great. Tonight we're having Lime Chicken kebabs with rice. Can't wait!

I lost 3lbs this week! Dead impressed!

I buy the mag too, can recommend it as well. Has some great recipes in it, tried and tested by all of us here (even the kids like some of them!)

If you go to a meeting, buy it there, you can get it for £1.80, otherwise it might be worth taking out a subscription to get it cheaper? That's if you want to buy it regularly?

Still plodding along here, trying to kerb hunger pangs and not doing too badly - keep finding things to do when I get urges to eat, keeps my mind off it for a while.

Going round my friends for a cuppa this pm and going to keep myself busy with housework this morning. Bit of baking to do (cornbread muffins, WW recipe) so shouldn't have too much time on my hands for eating :p

I'm going to set myself a mini-target. It's 8 weeks until our holiday to france and I'd like to get down to 13st before it (need to lose 12.5lb). I think that works out about a lb and a half per week which is achievable if I stick to it ! I'm going to make a real effort and do some 'extra' activity next week (I currently walk 1 mile per day on school run, plus extra if I need to go into town). So, i'm going to get the stepper down out of the bedroom and try and do 15 mins on that per day. It might help me along !

oh and a tiny bit of bacon
  • Well I went to my WI last night and another 1lb for me - that's 1 stone 5 lb in total and I'm now exactly 11stone, although I weighed myself on my own scales when I got in and they said 10st13lb so I think i'm going to go down a point in readiness!
  • Oh and I had a homemade cupcake today (it was for charidee!). Just a small sponge cake with a tiny bit of icing... How many points would you say!?
