I've started to plan my meals at the beginning of the week and I've found it very helpful. I hate feeling unprepared and find that if I don't decide before hand what I'm going to eat, I opt for a bad meal or overeat. So forward planning is a definate thumbs up from me.
My meal plan today is as follows:
Breakfast:
2 x weight watchers bread slices toasted: 2pts
10g flora light: 0.5pts
15g weight watchers jam: 0.5pts
= 3pts
Dinner:
Weight watchers ocean pie frozen meal: 3.5pts
Salad: 0pts
Mr.Ts light choices coleslaw: 1.5pts
= 5pts.
Tea:
Mr.Ts healthy living stir fry turkey strips: 2pts
Homepride curry sauce: 2pts
Uncle Bens long grain rice: 3pts
= 7pts
Snacks:
Weight watchers cheese puffs: 1pt
1 x pack iced gems: 1.5pts
Mr.As good for you cottage cheese: 1.5pts
Mixed pickle: 0pts
= 4pts
Right I'm off to do some of my workout dvd whilst my ocean pie is in the ovenx

Definately a winner with me.
The single breast burger and pitta have the same amount of points in, hence why I opted for the burger in attempt to fill me more (plus I make too much mess with the pittas lol)
The pitta comes in at 7 points, and the spicy rice at 3 pointsso 10 points for a delicious filling eat out meal is fantastic!
Hope you enjoy your birthday and your celebratory meal xx
I know, I love Nando's too. And to think me and MrM used to easily put away a Meal Platter between us! Love it cos you always know you're going to get an excellent standard of food - let's face it no-one is going to risk undercooking chicken! - we did go one time though to be told that they were out of chicken! - that was surreal!
I also plan our meals at the beginning of the week. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi everyone New Dieter Here!
Is it my imagination or do I remember seeing a recipe for a zero point vegtable chilli somewhere. I thought it may have been in a book a friend lent me but i'm not sure. I have searched online to no avail. I love chilli and want to make it.
I am on my 2nd day of weightwatchers and it is hard isn't it - I think it's worse when your at work because I eat out of boredom.
I noticed someone mentioned porridge for brekky was only 2 points - how much porridge is this? is it approx the same amount as in one of those oat so simple satchets? I am going to go back and read the thread to try and find some good recipes and advice.
Sorry if i'm asking stuff that has been asked a million times before

Evening Everyone
Also been a bit AWOL this week, for some reason I've been mega busy, doing not very much .
Think I need to plan my meals for the week ahead as I've been bad at having to make do with what's in the fridge and usually have to make bad food choices as that's all there is esp. for lunch.
Also I've STS this week, which was expected due to us being away at the weekend to my mum's.
Meals for the day were:
B: 2 x Crumpets with spread- 4.0pts :eek: for some reason the Tesco crumpets I picked up this time are 3.5pts for 2 not 2pts.....
L: 6 x Reduced Fat crackers with ham, nectarine & snack a jacks- 6pts2 x Chicken Tikka Kebabs (estimate 4pts are they were pre-made) + savoury rice- 4pts
S: 2 pink & Whites (1.5pts) + Milk (1pt)
Total for the day= 20.5 leaving 1.5pts for a snack later.
Hi Minnie: I've made no point chilli by using the following recipe:
1. Fry an onion with garlic in some frylight spray.
2. Add cubed courgette, aubergine, mushrooms, butternut squash and any other no point veg that you like.
3. Add a small amount of stock (any kind) to sweat off the veg in.
4. Add a tin of tomatoes & a 1/2 tub of passata, also throw in a pinch of chilli powder, cumin & paprika or any other spices and bring to the boil.
5. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 20-30mins.
Serve with rice, baked potato or pitta for a tasty low fat meal. Freezes well also.

An oat so simple sachet (no flavouring, approx 30g) is 1.5 points if you make it with water. Honey is 0.5 points but you can flavour it with sweetener. I had a banana (small = 1 point) in mine today.
I have never made mine with milk, but I find porridge with water is a great breakfast!
Today I've used all but one of my points. I'm so used to having a few left over I feel guilty (and really, really full!).0 -
Evening all,
Had an offish day today and yesterday
We went to the Slug and Lettuce for lunch today and i had the chicken and bacon ciabatta without the cheese but with the bbq sauce. I had the small salad on the side of the plate but left all the coleslaw.
When i got home i looked up on eating out bit listed at the start of this thread and it says that it is 18 points  I thought it was one of the more healthy things on their menu.
I had to have some tea this evening as i was starving so i have gone way over my points today.
Won't be eating there again!!!!!!!0 -
Hi everyone, congratulations to all the loosers. I actually managed to STS this week. At least it isn't a gain like the week before. My leader said that all the exercise I've done this week should pay off next week so hopefully I should reach my 5% goal. :j
I've found that using my 'Your Space' on my Wii isn't really helping me as besides taking my DS for a walk, I can't do much exercise with a 5 month old.
Hope everyone has a lovely week.:)TOTAL DEBT £12,212.46/£2000 paid offDebt Free Goal September 2017#106 Emergency Fund £482.53/£10000 -
I'm going to attempt to have an early night tonight. By early night I mean going to bed at, if not before, 12am. I'm such an insomniac and am thinking about purchasing some sort of sleepings meds tomorrow to try to help me get a normal sleeping pattern. I find I eat more if I stay up late as I'm always more hungry at night..GAH!
Well I've had all my points for the day and did 15 minutes of my work out dvd (damn me being so out of shape). Plan to do another 15 mins tomorrow and walk the dogs (twice, as I walk them seperate).
Got my food planned out for tomorrow and am hoping I feel better than I do today. I've been feeling a little down and penned in. So I'm hoping to get out the house tomorrow and into town just for some fresh air and a walk about!:heartsmil Proud Weight Watcher :heartsmilStart Weight: 15st 13lb Current Weight: 10st 5lbTotal Loss to Date: 5st 8lb- - -Current 2011 Goal: Lose 8lb by 25th DecemberLoss This Week: -3 Total Loss 2011: -30
