    Welcome to the thread goldfinch

I am also doing the moonwalk although not being quite as brave and only doing the half moon! Well done you. I was back on the ww anyway but the thought of walking round london in my bra is definitely helping me keep on track lol
  • Hi cheeky - excellent a fellow Moonwalker - yes the thought of the old belly showing is a scary prospect. I did think about decorating my bra belly-dancer style with very long fringy bits ha ha!! Have you had your pack with the bra through the post yet by the way?

No not yet, have you? I still havent decided how Im decorating my bra......keep trying to think of ideas...
  • No but it should be soon shouldn't it? Think I will go to Hobby Craft - they sell loads of thread and sequins and stuff and really go to town on it. I'm walking as part of a team of four of us but think we are all doing our own thing decorating-wise. How's the training going? I'm up to 13 miles but blimey the hips were aching after that one! Thank gawd for my ipod otherwise I think I would've turned round and gone home earlier!!

    Can I join please?

Joined online whilst there is no joining fee and got £30 cash back through Quidco so get the three months free in effect.

I joined a couple of weeks ago but actually only started dieting on Monday last week by which time I was a pound heavier than when I joined.

So last Monday I was 10st 3lb and I want to be 8st 12lb. By Friday I had dropped to 10st but given I've been out twice over the weekend I might be heavier tomorrow.

My WI is on a Thursday officially. I would like to have lost it by Easter which will be a push so if I get below 9st 7lb that will be a good start.

  • Congrats to everyone on their losses in the past few days :)

How is everyone doing with sticking to their points this week?

I managed to be good yesterday when I went to Nandos with my GF. We had gone to the Bullring in Bham to do some shopping, and I'd picked out Nandos for lunch beforehand and used my 'Eat Out' WW book to point my meal so I could stick to my allowance for the day :)

    In Nandos I ate:
Red Pepper Dip and Warm Pitta: 4pts (this is for half a portion as me and the GF shared.)
    Single Chicken Breast Burger: 7pts
    Peri-Peri Chips: 5.5pts
    Diet Coke: 0pts.

    :)

I also treated myself to one of the new heart shaped strawberry and cream valentines donuts from Krispy Kreme, but only ate it today to keep inside my points as I pointed it at 7 pts. Nomnom! :D

Tonight for tea we had a Sweet and Sour dish :)
WW Sweet & Sour sauce: 1pt
Mr.Ts Healthy Living turkey stir fry strips: 2pts
    Long grain rice: 3pts
    Courgette, onions and peppers: 0pts

    Was yummy!

  • Had a sneaky peek at the scales this morning, looks like I'm on my way to losing 2lb this week :D Have to keep it up for Tuesdays official weigh in! Made a Butternut Squash Risotto for tonights tea, went down really well with the OH. And only 4pts :D
  • Evening all. Well done for all your weight losses :T and Hi to all the other new people - I've only been here for a week too.

Had WI yesterday morning and was over the moon to see a 5lb weight loss taking me from 10st8lb to 10st3lb. I was soooo happy :jI know its prob just cos its my first week and next week won't be anywhere near as much, but it was such a great motivation to see how well the plan works. Have stuck to my points all weekend - infact am under them, and even did some excercise.

    Points today

    B: Porridge & 1/4 pt milk 2.0
L: 4 crackerbread with soft cheese and Tesco LC ham 4.0
    Loads of salad 0.0
    WW yoghurt 1.0
    D: WW pizza 3.5
    BNS chips 0.0
    Loads of salad 0.0
    WW choccy dessert 3.0
    S: Apple 0.5
    Pear 1.0
    50g dried apricots 1.0

So thats 16.0 of my 18.0 points allowance used. I'm still finding it difficult to actually use my points up and don't want to eat for the sake of it. Any suggestions?

Happy slimming and good luck to anyone with WI tomorrow

    xx
