How is everyone doing with sticking to their points this week?
I managed to be good yesterday when I went to Nandos with my GF. We had gone to the Bullring in Bham to do some shopping, and I'd picked out Nandos for lunch beforehand and used my 'Eat Out' WW book to point my meal so I could stick to my allowance for the day
In Nandos I ate:
Red Pepper Dip and Warm Pitta: 4pts (this is for half a portion as me and the GF shared.)
Single Chicken Breast Burger: 7pts
Peri-Peri Chips: 5.5pts
Diet Coke: 0pts.
I also treated myself to one of the new heart shaped strawberry and cream valentines donuts from Krispy Kreme, but only ate it today to keep inside my points as I pointed it at 7 pts. Nomnom!
Tonight for tea we had a Sweet and Sour dish
WW Sweet & Sour sauce: 1pt
Mr.Ts Healthy Living turkey stir fry strips: 2pts
Long grain rice: 3pts
Courgette, onions and peppers: 0pts
Was yummy!
Hi, we're going to Nando's next Sunday. It's my birthday that day. I've chosen Nando's because we never usually go out on my birthday because it's Valentines Day and most non-chain restaurants change their menus and hike up the prices because of it. At least we will know what we are getting at Nando's and I can point the meal before we go. Have had a look already and think I'm gonna go for a chicken pitta with spicy rice. Have a yummy profiterole dessert at home ready for afters. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Have to keep it up for Tuesdays official weigh in! Made a Butternut Squash Risotto for tonights tea, went down really well with the OH. And only 4pts
Hi, youluckypanda, would you mind posting your recipe? I'm making a risotto for my lunch today - it's a Rosemary Conley recipe and contains no wine or cheese. Hope it's tasty!
I've lost another 2lbs this week bringing my total to 13lbs since 4 Jan.
Today I'm having:-
BF : banana, 50g fromage frais, tsp honey and tsp porridge oats (eaten already)
snack : grapes
lunch : aforesaid risotto which will contain risotto rice (obviously), tinned tomatoes, stock, BNS and spinach
snack : melon
tea: beef stir fry
Gonna go and do an exercise DVD in a mo as well.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Zumba was fantastic, and I was talking to a lady who goes to aqua on a sunday and I have agreed to do legs bums and tums before hand - think I must be mad.
I did Zumba for the first time last week and loved it! Is definitely my sort of exercise! Definitely felt it in my legs the next day though!2019 will be my year!!0 -
I am struggling with eating the right foods, i get to points limit but am still starving. I know i'm eating the wrong things but don't know what to do to stop. I suppose i need to up my veg intake, is there a list of low point filling foods anywhere?Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Hi everyone
Sorry, AWOL again here but been with you (skim reading). I've updated first post with all weight losses and new members (hello :hello:)
I'm thrilled to say since we started this thread on 10th January, reported weight loss has been a total of 10st 9lb !!!! :j That's fantastic !!!!
I've struggled for 2 weeks now, have been good this week (one takeaway at the weekend but I was very careful on quantity) but my scales have jumped up.:( The only reason I can think is it's hormonal and I'm retaining water (which happens to me quite a lot). I know they will jump back down over the next couple of days but it's still disheartening nonetheless.
So, I'm going to track everything I eat and unless it's on my menu plan, it doesn't get past my lips ! I'm also going to try and up my exercise as I seem to have hit a plateau/mental block. We'll see what happens next week ! I shall avoid scales like the plague for a few days (probably not going to WI otherwise it will work against me, I'll get fed up and eat whereas if I don't get weighed, I shall keep the motivation because I know I've got to lose it for next week. Does that makes sense? lol
Will try and get on later to update WW food offers on front page, but if not I'll do it over next couple of days.
Well done for the fab losses everyone, keep it up ! xx:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
As I expected I'd gained weight over the weekend :eek: but I know if I get back on it now for the rest of the week it should come back off and more.
Today I've had;
Breakfast
Boiled egg 1.5 pts
Half grapefruit (yack) 0.5 pts
WW lemon and lime yoghurt (yum) 0.5 pts
Teaspoon of linseeds in yoghurt 0.5 pts
Total = 3 pts
Lunch
2 slices nimble wholemeal bread toasted 1.5 pts
Half a tin of Tesco value spaghetti 1.5 pts
30g of Tesco Low fat cheese melted in the spaghetti 1 pt
Total = 4 pts
Dinner
Braising steak 3 pts
Carrot 0 pts
Celery 0 pts
Onion 0 pts
Gravy granules 1 pt
New potatoes 2 pts
Steamed cabbage 0 pts
Total = 6 pts
And lots of points left. Will probably spend one on a bit of chocolateand save four.

Hey all, after a difficult week last week I am back on the waggon, I missed last week's weigh in due to work and am not sure I am going to get to today's either.
Today I had carrot cake for breakfast and just had some soup with a bit of ham in it,
and a bread roll with pumpkin seeds, delicious! There was something cooking in the slow cooker when I left this morning so I hope my housemate remembers not to put too much naughty stuff in.
Well done to everyone who has lost this week and encouragement to those who have stayed the same or put on, keep on going!God is good, all the time

Nandos is definately my favourite for eating out and staying within my points - I find it SO filling tooDefinately a winner with me.
The single breast burger and pitta have the same amount of points in, hence why I opted for the burger in attempt to fill me more (plus I make too much mess with the pittas lol)
The pitta comes in at 7 points, and the spicy rice at 3 pointsso 10 points for a delicious filling eat out meal is fantastic!
Hope you enjoy your birthday and your celebratory meal xx:heartsmil Proud Weight Watcher :heartsmilStart Weight: 15st 13lb Current Weight: 10st 5lbTotal Loss to Date: 5st 8lb- - -Current 2011 Goal: Lose 8lb by 25th DecemberLoss This Week: -3 Total Loss 2011: -30
