  • I did 40 minutes of 'Claire Richards 5 step fat attack' (i bought this because i was a giant Steps fan..nerrrd haha) and I was bloody knackered after the warm up - bad sign!! :rotfl:

I've got black bean beef stir fry with rice noodles planned for tea, and a WW strawberry meringue frozen dessert for pudding - looking forward to trying this for 1.5pts :D If they're good I may have to go back to Asda and stock up hehe

Asda have loads of WW producs on offer at the moment:

Fresh WW meals in the chiller section - 3 for £4

Frozen WW meals/desserts in the freezers - 5 for £5

Fresh WW ciabatta bread portions in the chiller section - 50p each

Fresh WW yogurts/desserts in chiller section - £1 per pack

WW tortilla wraps packs in bread section - 2 for £2

I stocked up and spent a fortune, but so worth it! :D

Ohhh and WW macaroni cheese from the chiller section was on offer for £1 a pack..omnomnom. :p

I think my major problem is portion sizes so I'm buying both kitchen and weighing scales tomorrow!

Breakfast - Tea & toast (4 pts overall)

Lunch - 1/2 carton of New Covent Gdn Winter Veg soup (2.5 pts) and it was delicious & filling!

Pasta bake (4pts overall) for dinner.

Unfortunately my local supermarket is out of fruit so I'll have to drive to the biggy tomorrow.

I make a nice noodle soup... not totally low-point but lower than mentioned here!

Chopped veg eg brocolli, peppers, carrots, corn
    Finely chopped garlic and ginger
A spray of oil in the saucepan and add these ingredients
Once veg softened, add a block of plain noodles (eg sharwoods plain fine noodles 4 points)
Then cover with pint stock and boil til noodles soft (though you don't want liquid to disappear!)
Serve and eat in a very messy way!

Am hungry now...! Going to a friends house for bangers and mash so have been saving points today and now I'm ravenous!

What sort of noodles did you use? Sharwoods noodles always seem to have a LOT of points in them - i try to stay clear of eggnoodles now..way too many points for what they are.

I use rice noodles in my stir frys, soups etc..for 100g fresh rice noodles there is only 2 points :)

I buy mine fresh in supermarkets - you find them in the veg section where they have the prepackaged stir fry mixes. They're usually on offer too with the prepacked veg mixes and fresh stir in sauces! The ones I'm having tonight were £1 per pack, or 3 for £2.50.

I got 1 pack of stir fry veg, 1 pack of rice noodles and 1 packet of fresh ginger and soy stir fry sauce for £3.50..and the veg and noodles have served 2 of us for 2 main meals :)

I have some of the covent gdn tomato and basil soup in my freezer - got it with the morrisons meal deal a while ago - glad to hear its good stuff :D

hey, so much for me whinging about being hungry... i've just had dinner and got 7 points left! :A

got some rich teas for a little snack later... prob have an apple and a little bit of cheese. rich tea = 0.5 points per biscuit so 3 for 1.5 points... apple and cheese = say 2 points. meaning i would still have 3.5 points to play around with.

any suggestions? i am a grazer! (albeit used to graze on gigantic things. no more :D)
