  • Evening everyone, I haven't been on here much lately but im still browsing through, been some good weight losses from people, keep it up.
I have been looking for some low point snacks and have made myself some popcorn tonight just a sprinkle of sweetener sugar on mine, my husband had salt. It was yummy and we made way too much i worked it out at 5.5pts but would make at least half that next time.
Off for some shut eye now, night all.

  • Had a bad weekend but still went to WI last night. A 2lb gain and a fresh start as of yesterday morning! Still need to stay positive and remember there's 17lb off in total since joining at the end of last year

Well done for going to WI Jet Boy :T - always a hard thing to do when you know you might have gained but good for morale. It's good that you can see the bigger picture too :D

I'm 100% back on track after my STS, keep thinking about the summer (which will come round sooooo quickly !) and feeling good in my clothes instead of fat and frumpy - it's keeping me focused !

Trying to move a bit more too. Just having a sit down with a cuppa in between washing the windows down. Will try and find something energetic to do this afternoon too. If the weather was better i'd go for a walk along the beach but it's piddling down here and I'm a fair weather walker :p.

    Morning...

Well done VALM on the loss and well done Mrs Toast and Jet Boy for weighing! I nearly always chicken out if I know its bad.

    Hope I haven't missed anyone.

laboutingirl - turkey kebabs sound delicious, I'll definitely be trying that sometime.

LillyAllen - that Sainsbury's balsamic is that 0 points cos it sounds lush.

LostKelly - popcorn is FAB! Me and the girls at work often munch on butterkist cinema sweet popcorn as a mid afternoon snack.

jtb - aaaggghhhh summer! I'm back on track today too, I am going to be good for the whole of Feb I have decided! Am going to buy some new CD's this evening to load onto ipod for the gym!

I am snacking on grapes at the moment - how many can I have for a point? Can't remember off hand but I'm sure its better than eating a whole box of Terrys All Gold :o (that was yesterday)

Have Tesco LC Moussaka for lunch only 3.5 points mmmmm.
Really should be doing some work...
  • Hey all, sorry, vanished for a while... I had to miss my WI for work last night so need to keep on the ball without the motivation of the scales. Might try to go briefly Friday morning. I can't normally stay for the class, do other people find it helpful? I like getting the Your week, some good ideas in there.

Any ideas about how many points in a tube of refreshers? I love 'em but would struggle to not eat a whole tube, best for some things to just be totally off limits sometimes :)

  • Afternoon Everyone.

Been mega busy over the last few days, out for dinner on Sat v. v. nice didn't get home until 3am so feeling rather rough the next day which meant I could face food until tea time, not so good.

WI yesterday and pleased to report a 3lb loss :T:T (making a total of 6lbs). Also had the hosp. where I was also weighed and according to their scales I'm down 7lbs since Dec, so they were really pleased with me. I was v. nervous about this WI as I didn't take a note of what they weighed me at, so had no clue as to whether I had gained , lost or STS especially with Xmas and all that.

Going back in 4 months so I would like to be 12stone 7lbs by then (I think it's doable).

Oh how I wish it was summer we had snow all weekend with kids off school Friday & Monday which means they've lost 7 days of school this term already out of a possible 20. Grrr North East of Scotland is getting really hit this winter, which makes me comfort eat all the more.

Well done to all the loses and STS, and for those of you who have gained well done for getting back on track and being determined not to give up. We're all here to support everyone through the good days and bad.

Are you talking about the mini tube similar to parma violets? if so then they're 0.5pts each.
    If it's a bar then it's 1.5pts

Or if the packet is the same as a pkt of love hearts then they're 1.5pts per pack

Well done! I am really glad you are feeling more positive too, you see how much you can do and how much it is in your control!

    :):):)

I really hope refreshers are only 1 1/2, that's a great snack for 3:30 if so!
