I fell like I'm getting heavier :( This weight loss stuff is impossible sometimes. I have no idea why my weight has gone up so much and so quickly

Well, I had my first bad weigh in. I managed to gain 1.5lbs but I did have 4 meals out last week. Guess I'm going to have to be really good this week. At least I'm not going out anywhere this week so should hopefully be able to track properly.

Well, I managed to STS this week which I'm really, really pleased about ! I was very lucky and might not get away with it next time, so I'm going to take this as a lesson learned ! :o If anyone is interested in what we had last night at our competition meal out, then it's on my blog. Be prepared though, it's obscene (the food, not my blog !! :rotfl:)

I bought the new cookbook tonight which has some yummy looking recipes in there - I can't wait to try them.

Well done to everyone who's lost weight. Hugs for those struggling (like me :o). I'll update first page etc tomorrow with weight losses. Have a great evening everyone xx

Oh you can reach that goal weight no problemo! I'm on a similar path, hoping to get to 81/2 stone from 101/2.

I rarely hit my 19pts everyday either, tend to be around 15/16pts but then have an extra treat on the weekend,

Have a snack inbetween breakfast & lunch. I tend to have some grapes (small bunch 1pt) or lychees (6 for 0.5pts)

You dinner looks a bit dry, do you have any sauces or gravy with it?

Yeah, i marinade my turkey in soy sauce with chinese 5 spice and then make "kebabs" with the turkey, peppers and pinapple then grill it. V yummy! And i put balsamic vinegar on my salad so no points!

Might have an extra treat at the weekend. Save it up for some choccy or something. I weigh in on a saturday morning so could have a treat when I get home and then have my 15/16 pts during the week to make up for it. Thanks for idea!

Good luck with getting to your goal

    xx
  • Evening everyone,

Does anyone know how many points are in bassets liquorice hard sticks? or could anyone hazzard a guess?

    Here is what i mean.

poppie, do you have the packet?

Edit : Just looked in my book and 25g of twists are 1 point - do you have any left that you can weigh?

Edit again lol: Bassett's Liquorice Pipes are 1/2 point each so you've had 2 1/2 points ....... hope that's not too much of a shock !

No, unfortunately I ate the lot :rotfl:

They don't come in a packet, you just buy them loose. I wouldn't have thought they weight more than 25g for each stick though.
If i say about 6 points for all 5 i reckon i should be ok.

    Thanks :D
