The only thing I do differently now is prepare and point all the ingredients before I start to cook and then chuck everything in the pan as usual. When I dish it up I then portion it for the no. of pts I want to eat then serve the rest to the family, no seperate meals in this house. It takes an extra a couple of minutes when making dinner but it's worth it. A notebook and my WW scales are now a permanent feature in my kitchen.
Tonight we've just had Italian Stew with Borlotti Beans & Sausage which was very yummy.

Thanks.
I cook everything from scratch too, but just can't be bothered weighing every ingredient and working out the points. I guess I should do it on my most regularly cooked meals and then save it in my tracker, so I only need to do it once.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Hi, please can I join. I joined WW 3 weeks ago and lost 7.5lbs already:jbut am having trouble trying to find interesting lunches. I have coeliacs disease so can't have any gluten unless I buy the expensive gluten free stuff which isn't really MSE! I normally have jacket potatoes or gluten free toast which is home made but I'm getting fed up with them. Any ideas would be gratefully received.
Gemzie - I make the carrot and parsnip bake from the website which is scrummy and only 2.5 points. You could have some bread or a pudding with it but it's so filling for what it is.:)
Thanks Mrs Toast, I'm gluten free too and dairy free. Be very careful on the gluten free cakes - they are really high in points I discovered yesterday  Spelt and rye bread is nice, if you can tolerate it, not sure on the points of it though. Oh and rice noodles are yummy in an otherwise free soup for bulk.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Thanks for the welcome
My target is 10st. I'm about 11st 1lb at the moment, safe enough for my height but I'm just not comfortable.

1.5lb loss for me this week - making 16lb in the 2 months i've been doing it. Obviously it's slowing down so i'm starting to up the trips to the swimming pool and have signed up to a 40 length swimathon in April so hopefully having a target will help my motivation.0

Hi, I'm new over here so hope it's okay to post. My mum successfully did WW and lost three stone so I have the basics without going to meetings. So now me and OH are on board - very difficult to feed us both with such a vast difference in points (20 to 35).
I've used too many points on lunch, so have four left for tea and I'm starving. What's low/free and filling?
My favourite is a king prawn stir fry - 0.5 points for 8 prawns and as much veg as you can handle but without anything else, or maybe add 2 or 3 for some rice if you feel you want it.0 -
hi, have just joined weight watchers (yesterday evening in fact) and trying to get the hang of it. Just wondered though, i make all my cakes, biscuits, bread etc to save the pennies, but have no idea how to point them????? how do you all do it?

Hi there, you need to work out the points of all your ingredients, then divide it by how many you made. i.e if all your cake mixture was 20 points and you made 10 fairy cakes itd be 2 points each.0
