Arrrrrgggggghhhhh was on a course today so had to have lunch there! Now I dont know what to have for tea as not sure how to point my lunch.

Can anyone help. I had the vege option at lunch which was pasta with courgette and tomato etc, in a sweet pepper sauce with a little parmasean, sauce seemed a little oily? Then some salad stuff which has some kind of dressing on. It wasnt a massive portion and I asked for less. Im thinking of guessing 10 points but have no idea.

On the plus side I lost 2.5 pounds this week. Thats 29 pounds now in total!! yey!!

How do you work out the points on HM food? Do you have to weigh everything??

Yep. I cook all my food from scratch, always have done so it would be strange for me to start eating ready meals. The only thing I do differently now is prepare and point all the ingredients before I start to cook and then chuck everything in the pan as usual. When I dish it up I then portion it for the no. of pts I want to eat then serve the rest to the family, no seperate meals in this house. It takes an extra a couple of minutes when making dinner but it's worth it. A notebook and my WW scales are now a permanent feature in my kitchen. :D

Tonight we've just had Italian Stew with Borlotti Beans & Sausage which was very yummy.

Well done on your loss this week:T

As for lunch I would say you're probably about right

    Pasta Sauce 2-3pts
    Lg Portion Pasta 3-5pts
    Parmesan 1-2pts
    Salad Dressing 1-2pts

So somewhere between 7-12pts so 10 seems reasonable to me.

    Hi everyone, I'm still here ....... just ! :p

Having a pretty bad week, bit out of sorts with it all as I've just finished work to become a SAHM :T and I'm still getting used to it !

Had a leaving lunch on Weds so food not very good that day :( and today I can't seem to leave the biscuits alone  ! I've had 3 so not an extreme amount but enough to put me over my points.

We've got a meal out this coming Sunday (me and DH) - I won a competition for a meal for 2 at a posh restaurant :j ! Great but not great for the diet but I'm going to enjoy myself because we'd never be able to afford to eat somewhere like that usually. :o

Another meal out next Tuesday but I've already chosen (crab salad and fruit salad for dessert) so there's no going back on that one and I chose sensibly while I had the willpower ! :D

First post is all updated with newcomers (hello and welcome !) and weight losses - some great losses recently ! Well done :T. If I've missed anyone then please accept my apologies and shout at me in BIG RED LETTERS !

I shall add Mrs Toast shortly :D.

Tomorrows activity is to do a week long mealplan as I've fallen off the wagon there a bit lately and I need to get organised so that I'm not panicking about what to cook. Then, if the weather is good, I might go for a nice walk along the beach (10 mins walk from our house :D).

Now i've finished work I'll be able to keep up with you all properly ;).

Back in a bit  (water not beer !!!! :p)
    :jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j
