    Morning all!

Apologes I've been AWOL but its been a stressful week workwise! Not really stuck to points but have been listening to my stomach and only trying to eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full so I managed a STS this week which is fine.

Unfortunately yesterday I HAD to test all the different items on the chocolate fountain at a wedding fair...!!

This is the style of dress we are looking at for bridesmaids next year (19 months away - really got to stop getting so excited and wanting everything now!) so I think I want to be able to buy a size 10 and it would look fab with a light tan (fake obviously) and now I want to grow my hair having just cut it SHORT!! :Dhttp://www.bhs.co.uk/mall/productpage.cfm/bhsstore/655028

Anyway will try to be good from now on. Cereal bar and apple for brekkie, spaghetti on toast for lunch and who knows what for dinner..

Well done on the STS's and losses everyone and welcome newbies! I'll have a proper catch up later.

    Puds x
Really should be doing some work...

    Today I am having :-

BF: Weetabix with cranberries and glass of orange juice
    lunch: tomato/red pepper/lentil soup

Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I've had lunch and did add half a can of baked beans to the soup as they would have been wasted. Not bad though as the soup was free and the beans were pointed at 2.

  • 2nd WI today and I'm pleased to report a 3lb loss. :T

Pretty good going especially after my crisp disaster on Friday. Need to be really focused this week as I have a meal out of Sat for a friends birthday and my WI at the hosp on Monday which I was tasked by the consultant to loss weight before my next appt. So hopefully I can shift another 1lb would should show that I'm heading in the right direction.

    Meals for today were/are:

B: Toast with Marg & Jam- 4.0pts (full of the cold and really needed comfort food)
L: Baked Potato with Beans, Cherry Toms, Shape Yoghurt- 5.5pts
D: Haggis, Neeps & Tatties- 8.5pts (Burns night and all that)
S: Milk for Coffee, Banana & Hot Chocolate- 3.0pts

Total: 21 Points Banked for wine @ the weekend: 1

Bramble1: I'm the same as you I tend to shovel it in and before you notice your meal has gone and I'm still looking for more. I've tried eating slower but I find it hard so that's my challenge for the week. Make each meal a joy to eat and slow down the munching.

Valm: Well done on getting your 1st sticky 7.

Puddings: Love the dress and sometimes if we're too busy we just need to make sensible choices rather than point everything. So well done on STS.

    Catch you all later

    Afternoon everyone

Well, after my binge on Wednesday, I managed to clamber back into the saddle and kept to plan. Had my induction at the gym and have been doing really well.

I'm so happy to report that rumblytum has lost 5lbs :T

Very happy and relieved. It just goes to show that those bad days can be got through, and I'll remember that when it will inevitably happen again. There's also no doubt that starting up exercise again must have had a huge impact. I imagine the loss will be more realistic next week, but it's a nice start!

On the question of pointing milk - if you're doing Simply Filling, milk isn't pointed.

Have a good week - won't be cooking so much this week, but will try to post some recipes when I do.

  • Congrats to everyone on their losses - especially you rumblytum..that's epic! :D

I've been feeling rather poorly today, slept in for a long time due to feeling hideously sick, and have just managed to force a bowl of Ready Brek down me for 1.5pts.

Am going to sit and let it digest for a bit then get out my Claire Richards dvd and do some exercise! I really need to get on this, and am going to hopefully do 30 mins of exercise 3 times this week :) (well between today and Friday as am off home to visit my Mum on Friday night till Sunday..eek!)

I had planned to have a WW medeterranian pasta meal at 4pts for my dinner but it looks like I might be skipping that due to feeling sick and eating so late..meh!

But i'll definately be eating tea tonight, which consists of a chilli marinade chicken breast for 4pts and some thai rice for 3pts. Maybe a caramel crunch ww pud if I feel up to it (more than likely ;) )

Me and the gf have been trying to plan our teas for the rest of the week, we're almost out of meat, and are trying to eat our way through the cupboards and freezer before we buy anymore. We tend to do a big shop, fill the cupboards and freezer, then fritter away £20 here and £30 there in supermarkets on stuff we don't really need, even though the cupboards are full. Meh! So I've made a stand and decided we need to plan weekly meals. :D

  • Grr only lost 1lb this week so compared to the 4lbs last week it's rubbish!!

BUT it's made me focus more. I just spent a fair bit in the supermarket on WW meals and lots of fruit & veg so back on track for the coming week!!
