No, an egg is 1.5, and if you have 2 it is 2.5 on the online tracker. Egg whites are free, so you could get more egg for your points by using 1 whole egg and one white. Or by bulking up with something else (mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, spinach...)

Ohh okay i thought it must have got that one wrong! Thank you!

Hi everyone, Lost 2.5 pounds in first week so was pleased as I know it sounds a little barmy but I have been finding it really hard to eat so many points in a day. I am on 22 points and I find it really impossible to have breakfast and so making it difficult to get the points up by the end of the day. I am also a vegetarian so this doesn't really help. I know it will be good for me further down the dieting road when I am on the last half stone but at the mo i need to eat all the points.
My ww leader has given me a few tips such as eating more 2nd class proteins so I will have to really try harder this week.

What would be the point of not pointing milk? It still has fat content like anything else and if you don't point it and you go over, you can't expect a loss! Better idea is just to deduct say, 1 point from your total - I have 20 points a day but I tell myself 19, so that I can have milk in my tea without worrying about it.

Same as there's not point just having one or two grams less of something to bring it down by 0.5 points - you'll just end up with a STS or gain rather than a loss because everything you have will be *just under* the cut off point - which could easily add up to an extra 5 points or so during the day!

I must say that sometimes it's tempting to 'beat the system' but really it does no good (personal experience!). Now I try to round up rather than round down - for example pink and whites add up to 1.5 points for two. I know not everyone uses the online system but it's great if you want to be really accurate; if you just put it down as one point (for example by putting one under lunch and the other under 'any time') then you might convince yourself you've still got half a point left when you haven't really.

oops I didn't know two pink and whites were 1.5 points!

Today I have washed the car for an hour, not sure how many points that will be?

    Ate the following:

    Shreaddies choc = 2.5p
    bit of milk =1p

    crumpet with butter=1.5p

    pot noodle mug = 2p
    prawns =2p

    asda curry meal = 7p

bit of beef slices = 1p?

    Some sugar free cherry ade.

    Pink and white = 0.5p

    =17.5 points

Found my old gold members card today, I was ten stone 7 and a half in Jan 2007.

My goal this time is to get to 10 stone 7lbs and stay very close or slightly under to that weight. But as soon as I get to ten stone 12 and a half I will go free!

So I have 1 stone 2lbs to go!
  • Just popping my head in again, I need to be more of a frequent poster dammit! :)

  • Weekends are so tough to regulate!! I had skin less chicken yesterday with a drizzle of white wine sauce & broccoli & asparagus - 7pts. And tonight I'm having a chicken roast, small portion with no spuds and only a little bit of gravey.

I went on a hike today up a v.steep hill & bought Davina's new dumbell set so I can do Top Fit on Tuesday (my BF is around tomorrow night).

I've noticed my appetite has gone down significantly. I'm having much smaller portions & still not managing to eat it all :D

    My second weigh in tomorrow....eek!

ditto to the smaller appetite and feeling like i've lost weight only trouble is i've lost it from my bust not my stomach !!!

I haven't had a great weekend but tried to minimise the damage by making good choices ( or the best i could ) yesterday involved a trip to the golden arches and avoided having a bun by opting for 3 chicken selects - the in the evening a portion of our friends hoemade lasgane - luckily it has loads of veg in it and while i couldn;t point it i think I would have been okish .

today involved yet more fast food - lucikly this involved a food court so i was able to choose spud u like and at least felt like i was doing ok and eatting real food .

will get back on track tomorrow

  • hi,
Not been on for couple of days, hope everyone is ok.
Been feeling really good today. I think i can feel that i have lost some weight as my jeans which used to fit comfortably kept falling down today! I wish i had taken some measurements for before and after.
I have made myself do at least 20 mins a day on the cross trainer and have been managing to do that. I never got out of bed this morning to do it but have just finished fpr today, so sipping on some water and typing out of breath while writing this. Just hope the scales reflect all the extra effort!
Just a quick question, do you eat your exercise points or save them? I have saved them but as they saved points i was wondering what you all do? It seems a bit silly to eat extra when you've just done all that hard work to take it off?
Anyway i'm all sweaty now so off for a soak in the bath.
    Night all

Hi all, glad to read that everyone is doing well.
thanks for all the points tips too!
Well my first week i lost 2lb, my second week i stayed the same:(, and my 3rd weigh in is tomorrow. I am feeling quite confident unless my scales at home are lying! Fingers crossed this is a good loss after last week's disappointment!

Good luck to anyone else with a Monday weigh in.
