I too feel lucky that I can't stand the taste of alcohol. Choc is only my prob! Sort that out and I will be fine!

Today I have eaten the following:

    Crisps = 1.5p
    Apple juice =1p

weight watchers tangy tomato and rice soup = 1.5 (very thick and tasty)
half a small french stick = 3.5 points

A gorgeous asda Chinese packet meal = 7.5 points

    pink and whites x2 = 1 point

    mini milk lollys x2 = 1 point

    - 3 points from yesterday and other day.

I've been pretty bad this week as I've been snacking on chocolates that my sister brought me from the US. But that's it, they're gone and I won't be buying any in so the temptation's behind me. I've tried to up my exercise - did 30 minutes aerobic workout this morning and tomorrow we have a family walk planned. My weigh in is on Monday so will see what damage I have done then. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Well my day 1 on WW is nearly over and i'm feeling good! Was really hungry around 4pm had to pop to waitrose on way home and resisted the temptation to get a snack and haf to walk half hour to and from the station today too.

Decided i'd quite like a drink tonight, and got some lambrini for christmas so i've measured out my allowance 500mls into a measuring jug which is in the fridge and the rest of the bottle is locked away in the garage!

Need to work on eating something more filling for breakfast but it really needs to be something i can grab and eat.

I keep a few boiled eggs in the fridge - perfect with some soft cheese as a quick quick and filling breakfast..

    Hi guys,

Is there anybody out there who doesn't count their milk. I know I am supposed to count the milk but I was wondering if there is anybody who still loses when they don't count it.

Good luck with the WI this week xx

What would be the point of not pointing milk? It still has fat content like anything else and if you don't point it and you go over, you can't expect a loss! Better idea is just to deduct say, 1 point from your total - I have 20 points a day but I tell myself 19, so that I can have milk in my tea without worrying about it.

Same as there's not point just having one or two grams less of something to bring it down by 0.5 points - you'll just end up with a STS or gain rather than a loss because everything you have will be *just under* the cut off point - which could easily add up to an extra 5 points or so during the day!

I must say that sometimes it's tempting to 'beat the system' but really it does no good (personal experience!). Now I try to round up rather than round down - for example pink and whites add up to 1.5 points for two. I know not everyone uses the online system but it's great if you want to be really accurate; if you just put it down as one point (for example by putting one under lunch and the other under 'any time') then you might convince yourself you've still got half a point left when you haven't really.

are 2 eggs really 4.5 points?! I thought scrambled egg on WW toast was a really good idea this morning! now...not so much.

How much milk is in one point? I counted all my milk from yesterday but it said 0 points?

No, an egg is 1.5, and if you have 2 it is 2.5 on the online tracker. Egg whites are free, so you could get more egg for your points by using 1 whole egg and one white. Or by bulking up with something else (mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, spinach...)
