Woooohooooooooooooooowwooooooooooooohhhha!! I lost 2.5lbs since Friday! So pleased as I had a cosmo meal out too. I feel/am back on plan and ready to loose more weight. Pleased I gained control of my eating.

Bought a new points calculator too and some lemon meringue bars with my vouchers.

    Well done Vikki :T

  • Good morning everyone,

I was in a meeting all day yesterday, so couldn't post my Monday stuff, here goes:

Exercise: 25 mins cycle, 50 mins walk

    Drinks: 3 x water, 4 x decaf tea/skim milk

    Breakfast: cheerios/skim milk

Lunch: M&S Count on us tuna pasta bake, and rainbow super salad

Dinner: Granary s/wich with extra light soft cheese with onion and chives and cucumber

Snacks: banana, 3 multigrain Ryvita with ex light soft cheese with garlic and herbs

Triumph of the day: Having to buy lunch on the run, and making a healthy choice, and queuing past all the crips and not picking a single bag up. Oh no. Not me. :T

    Tuesday:

    Drinks: 1 x water, 2 x apple juice, 4 x decaf tea/skim milk, 1 red wine

    Breakfast: cheerios/skim milk

Lunch: 3 slices French bread, pickle, small amt Caerphilly cheese

Dinner: jacket potato with waldorf filling (ex. light soft cheese with onion and chives, celery, apple, walnuts, red grapes), and rocket

    Snacks: Walkers baked crisps

    No exercise

Triumph of the day: I sat in this meeting all day with a plate of Danish pastries next to me and didn't take one - serious temptation! Didn't butter my bread with the lunch provided, and only had a small amt of cheese. :T

Points are high from that lunch, but I still feel in control as I made choices and tried to be sensible with portion sizes. My tummy rumbled horribly during the morning, but I still resisted those pastries!

    Have a good day everyone.

Posting everyone try to and find if this is correct - on quidco right now it says you get £30 cash back when you join WW - and it's only £30 for three months right now....is this right!!!

  • Rumblytum: Well done on making the 'right' food choices and being sensible. It's not always easy to point everything and say sod it I'll eat what I want and start again tomorrow. This time I'm defo taking the view that even faced with high point food etc I'll limit what I eat at that meal and then carry on as normal.

YWG: Your absolutely nuts staying up sooooo late for a bargain, hope you were successful!

Jane: OMG :j:j 1st 2lbs what an achievement for your hubby and yourself, 6lbs is also fantastic. Wish my hubby would take on board that he needs to lose 4-5 stone but he'd never take up dieting in a month of Sundays.

Poppie: Hope your having a better day today. Dieting can be boring but the rewards must be worth it. I would dearly love to go shopping and not have to go straight to the plus size section and shop in the 'trendy' shops. Believe me being a size 20 isn't much fun either.

Struggling on the exercise front also, trying to fit it in all into 1 day is a nightmare sometimes. I also try to get up early but love my bed toooooo much. I WILL make an effort for the rest of the week to do some exercise every night before I make the dinner. Kids may have wasted away by then .

    Meals yesterday were:

B: 2 x Crumpets with spread - 2.5pts Thanks for making me aware that these are low in points
    L: Low fat Super Noodles + 2 sml drumstick lollies - 6pts
D: Hot Dog with HM Potato Wedges - 10pts
    S: Milk & Crackers with Jam - 3.5

    Total: 22 :T

    Hi everyone,

you_wicked_gay I make an omelette with one whole egg at 2pts and add 2 egg whites, i usually hace some chopped up mushroom with mine so that bulks it up a bit.

I just tried the grilled brie and apple panini for my lunch today at 5.5pts. It is on the WW site, it's supposed to be a sandwich but had panini's in cupboard to use and it worked out an extra 0.5pts. It was easy to make and tasted good. It's a bit of a high point for lunch but skipped breakfast because i was doing my housework.
I have now got a cross trainer at home so am hoping to do half hour on that later, need to start doing some exercise and am not getting to the gym. So hopefully having one at home i shall be more inclined to use it.
I must finish some more housework now.
    Bye kelly x

See a hot dog just wouldn't do it for me! I would rather have a massive piece of fish or a whole chicken breast and it works out less points! My list is so long by the end of the day but I tend to go for lots of filling/low points items. I recommend it. Congrats for sticking to it though - the weight will drop off, i lost over a stone in two months and it was easy peasy. I have a feeling it's going to be the next (and final! Woo!) stone that will be the harder to shift but we will see!

Lillyallen, why not try the ww chinese packet meal or an asda/tesco chinese type meal?
