Hi, i have just started my diet (monday)

I am going out for a meal tonight and I dont know what to have for dinner.

Healthier choices on the menu are

Chicken Ceaser salad - standard things leaves, chicken, anchoives, bits of breah croutons and the sauce

Baked fillet of salmon - Served on a bed of sweet potato mash and fine green beans. Drizzled with a tomato and balsamic dressing and finished with tarragon leaves

A steak which I would swap chips for new pototoes

I am thinking the salmon myself - was thinking of asking for the gammon with a salad and not chips which I have done in other restuarants but not sure they will do this here.

thoughts on which would have least cals please.

    thank you
  • Yes I think the salmon would be a good choice, if they dont drizzle it with oil.The steak could be good too lots of protein, I think you just need to watch the potatoes and fill up on vegtables.
The WW frozen meals, wraps and pittas are on offer at morrisons, the meals are 77p and the wraps and pittas are half price. The chrisp are also on offer for £1, tortillas, hoops and crinkles.Im hoping the other supermarkets follow suite.Im going to stock up.
    Today I had
Breakfast - a poached egg, 2 ww danish, 2 teaspoons of low fat spread 2.
Lunch- ww wrap 3, half of a chicken breast 2, rasher of bacon fat removed 1 and a big salad.Micro chips 4
    Tea -WW ocean pie 5, 2 ww danish 2 , 2 teaspoons spread 2.
Snacks- apple, bannana, WW toffee mallow 1.
and 1 for quarter pint of skimmed milk for tea.
So that is 27 pro points up to now.Might have another toffee mallow if I feel tempted later.

Don't want to panic anyone but 2 pieces of bread is actually 5 points!!

Just looking through here to get inspiration to get back on board after xmas - not looking forward to WI this week.

first weigh in of the year, and first one for 3 weeks and I lost 1.5lb, happy with that as had flu over christmas and had had the munchies since I started getting better as well as not following the plan at all, will start again tomorrow (I say....):D
    Weight Loss - 102lb
  • It's my first weigh in tomorrow since before Xmas and I'm not too optimistic. Since coming back to work I've found it difficult to think about packed lunches that are quick and easy to prepare and easy to eat at work. My best idea has been WW spagetti in a flask.

    Has anyone any inspiration???

Thats what i thought but when i entered it online it said 4pp for both slices, it was the tesco value bread i had so maybe the slices are smaller. My shocker was the biscuits (2 in a pack) , they were 1.5pts on old plan and 3 on new one!
Having an easy ready meal day today as me and ds are full of cold and really cant be chewed with cooking, terrible i know:o

[QUOTE=supersavershal;39903744 .I downloaded a free app for my mobile that works the pro points out so it doesnt have to cost much.Im not sure if people following the old diet should be posting here as that is no longer the ww diet.
And Id rather be eating bacon at 1 pro point a rasher than 1.5 points a rasher on the old diet!![/QUOTE]
hi there i think i will join :j i was wondering where did u download the app from- not long before they changed it i bought a ton of books/calculater/pedomenter etc and was going to stick with the old plan but i can see your point xx

Hi all, I am on the same journey as many of you!

Just started on propoints last week, having done the old plan about 3 years ago.

Back then I lost 2 stone 5lb but have slowly but back on almost a stone of that over the last 18 months or so (I blame domestic bliss!!)

So am aiming to lose a stone this time to put me back into healthy BMI and then see how I feel.

So far so good on Propoints, looking forward to my first weigh in next week.

I have to say - anyone with an iphone - download the app!! It's free - and it's magic - it has an inbuilt calculator so you don't have to buy one at the meetings - and it has a great tracker where you put in what you have each day and you can track your points allowance very easily that way.

    karie xx
