Happy new year to you all.
I wonder if the thread will start picking up now that people start thinking about new years resolution and the dreaded xmas weight gain! I gained 4lbs!! Oh well guess what my new years resolution is? I did it last year and lost 2 and a half stone, but gave up around november and december time, too much xmas chocolate around! I have another 2 and a half stone to lose ish maybe more, i'll see how it goes. Except i see cadburys creme eggs now! Does anyone know how many PP they are?
    Take care

  • Hi all
I have not had a WI since 18th December and by then I was 2lb from my goal weight!
I am hoping I have not sabotaged myself of the holiday break so when I go back to class next week I will either only put on 1 or 2 lb or at best STS.
I have a whole week until WI as I got to a class on a Saturday.

Good luck to everyone on their Weight loss journey in 2011 :)

  • Haven't gone back far through this thread so don't shout if this question has already been answered....are there any websites where I can continue to track WW points through the original plan? I joined WW in September and steadily lost a couple of pounds a week without trying too hard, I was still having my little treats and was happy with the online membership. Then propoints was introduced, I did try it for a few weeks but as a vegetarian who doesn't eat meat/fish I was finding it very hard and regularly using my extra allowance just to get by daily on the things I was able to eat before. I lost interest and didn't even bother tracking for the next few weeks and cancelled my membership before the next payment was taken.

Propoints just was not for me but the online way of working did work (can't be doing with a piece of paper and a calculator) so has anyone come across any sites that would online track WW points on the original plan?

P.S Did ask WW if I could remain on the original plan as this worked for me and they said no......booo! I don't see why they couldn't have the calculator and tracker on a separate page for the online people who wanted to use it. Their answer to me was just about how wonderful propoints is.
  • Hello all :)
I've been putting off starting the diet again for far too long, so tomorrow morning I'll be turning in the Wii and weighing myself for the first time in months. I absolutely cannot afford to go back to meeting, but I do have about 20 old plan recipe books and every other resource I could possibly want so I'll be following the Discover plan for now - is anyone else still doing this?

Thanks for that, no excuse now - well maybe start tomorrow as I have just consumed 3 blue ribands without even blinking.

I still think its mean of WW to not let us do the discover plan online. I don't care if the site is now tailored to propoints, a separate page where you can track points for the discover plan and access to the weight tracker wouldn't be too much trouble.....I don't see how it matters if they are getting the money from you anyway. What do I know? Am just a customer who was happy on the other plan and got changed onto PP without much warning (apart from the rumours I read on the boards). I only joined in September, they didn't tell me then that the plan would be changing (as they know people wouldn't have joined at that point and would have waited for the new plan) - sorry, still bitter and twisted ;)

Goes off to work out the points in 3 blue ribands.....:(
  • Well its all back to normal from today.I personally do not cope very well diet wise with any change to my routine.Ive continued to track but have not been as good as usual with portion size etc.My WI isnt until the 10th so I have a week to sort myself out, I do not want any weight gains on my new card.Il be happy if Im the same as when I finished for christmas.Im doing my menu plan today and will shop later, Im hoping there will be some offers on the ww foods.
