A dress size is usually 10lbs but in my case it's more round the 12-14lb mark before I notice and can move down to the next size. Can you tell that I've been there done that and failed. I've only ever managed to drop one size then failed miserably at the dieting lark and put the weight all back on again.

    Becks

Same here 12 to 14lbs and I change a size.

I am size 12/14 at the moment. I seem to put a big on my back and some size 14 things dont fit. I am 5ft 6. When ten stone 7 to ten stone I am about size 10 to 12.

Yea, you really have to plan if you want to eat out. where I like spur of the moment munchies in harvester or cosmo. Can't do them for awhile though, need to get back on the plan well before that:rolleyes:

    Hi All

I have been a very rubbish poster over the week, but i have been reading and keeping up with events.

Glad everyone seems to be doing ok. I have been struggling on and off but generally doing well. Its more a boredom thing with me.

Had a quick glance at the scales and they seem to be good but i won't count my chickens until sunday at wi.

I'm off to the gym tonight to pound that treadmill.

Congrats to all for the loses and I'll let you know how I get on, on sunday.

    Duckie

PS have discovered M&S count on us range, its 3 for 2 at the mo and they have all the points on the packets so you know exactly where you are and they seem to be better than the ww range, I'm having a filled Yorkshire with veg tonight for tea - 3pts. :-)

oowh sounds good that ms have points on their meals. Are they pricey? Wow thats low and sounds yummy! Will have to have a mooch tomorrow..

Wish the goverment in the pledge to get britain fitter would so some sort of discount on gyms so they wouldnt be so expensive.

I miss my treadmill, its broke:rolleyes: but did like to power walk on it.

Well Done Katy - 2lbs is very good. Slow steady loss is the best kind of loss, more likely to stay off in the long run!

I know I posted this on the old thread but its a link to what a pound looks like - you wont say only a pound from now on!! LOL.

    http://musclemana.com/images/articlePics/1lbs_fat.jpg

Im making a version of cottage pie tonight - hopefully nicer than my lasagne the other day, should be though as got more points to spare. Had 7 so far today and need to save 1 at least. Am hoping to do the shephereds pie for 7 though and then I can save 4.

And hopefully back to the gym tomorrow, I want to go tonight but the roads are still bit iffy.

wow! That pound looks yuk! Thanks for sharing, love things like that. I wanna buy it? Wonder if they sell them on ebay? I like things like that, so you can relate to something on the amount you have lost.

    Hi everyone,
I have been doing this diet for just over a week now and my husband is doing it with me too, so am very happy i have someone to do it with. I don't think i would have stuck to it quite so much. I think the first couple of days was hard for me because i am not used to portion control and over the years they have been creeping up. This week i have found it easier and not feeling so hungry. I am just getting used to spreading the points over the day because the other day i had so many points left at end of day. I have a sweet tooth so do miss my chocolate.
I've been reading this thread for the past week and not been quite ready to post yet but just had my first weigh in and have lost 6lbs! Yay. I hope this is correct because i weighed myself on wii to start but have now bought myself some scales, so not sure if there is any difference but will continue to weigh on scales now. I am shocked but this has spurred me on to carry on and made me feel it's all been worth it. I have now lost a point on my points allowance but don't think this will bother me as have 10 points for week saved up. We was going to use this for a chinese takeaway but don't really feel like one so have just written them off.
Do you think i should be leaving them each week or using the points, because am worried when i drop points i will feel it later on?
Hope i didnt chat on for too long.
    Kelly x

Well done Kelly! I too miss choc! I try to fool my body though and get those choc twister lollys (1p) or some tesco choc mouses only 1p!! ANd taste lovely!

    Right now Im CONFUDDLED!!!

I have an old style worcester sauce pack at home and that is definately 1 point on the ww calculator

Then I have some new style packs and they are coming out at 1.5 points.

Damn them they must have changed them in the last few weeks!! All are multipack bags! Thats annoy, better count as 1.5 from now on :-(

Sorry just seen this post now after too much posting from me:o:p

Ah yeaa that must be why I thought before x mas they were 1p and now 1.5.

These things make you think you are going mad!

Oh how pants! Walkers reduce them for us ww members! We should set up a campaign! lol Just goes to show we have to keep checking all the time with these pesky companies!

What a shame as they dont taste no different:rolleyes:

Let me know if you find them. In fact surprised ww haven't caught on, good little money earner selling fat pieces! They could do them in all sorts of shapes and sizes lol. Or I will have to go to a super market and do my sugar weigh, or water weigh again to get something that weights a pound.

I need a new ww points calculator I have a square polka dot one at the moment and somethings happened to the battery. It just wont stay in place? Its just a points calculator so its nice and simple. What are these new ones like? I dont need all the points trackers on them. Can you still get the old square ones?

Off to go and get two mini milks! Yum!

Funny hunger is starting to go now, yay!
