just had my first weigh in and have lost 6lbs! Yay. I hope this is correct because i weighed myself on wii to start but have now bought myself some scales, so not sure if there is any difference but will continue to weigh on scales now. I am shocked but this has spurred me on to carry on and made me feel it's all been worth it.
Well done! I also lost a lot in the first 2 weeks and that has ground to a total halt in the third week.I'm trying to keep motivated - I know I'm eating better and that has to have a positive effect long term!

Morning everyone :hello:
Well done to all those who have lost weight :T
I am still plodding along, day 3 today and i have to admit yesterday wasn't anywhere near as tough as day 1. Well, that was until my Mum brought me down some liquorice comfits (my fav) I stuffed them to the back of the drawer and that is where they are staying.
Does anyone know roughly how many points are in say 100g of lean beef mince?? i want to make a small shephereds pie but have no idea what sort of point value it would be. I am using a sweet potato for the mash as i was told by a friend that it is better than normal potatoes, is that right?
Have a good day everyone.0 -
M&S are doing their 'Dine in for £10' deal at the moment and we got the chicken with pesto and mozarella, and roast potatoes with rosemary. Came out 6.5 points each (or would have done if it was equal - he always has more than I do anyway so probably worked out less for me!) and then had a glass of wine with it so 9 points all in all! Anyway didn't have any of the pud (yet) - had sugar free jelly instead -but thought this was a very reasonable amount of points for an easy-to-cook lazy weekend M&S meal (add veg and it's a big meal too!) so thought I would share!0

If you get extra lean it would be about 2.5 points for 100g depending on the brand and normal lean mince is around 4 points. Best to go to WW site or here:http://mywn.co.uk/points/ and put in the exact number of cals/sat fat so you can be accurate.
Points wise I think sweet potato is just slightly higher than normal potato; both are 1 point for 100g although normal potato is 2 for 200g and SP is 2.5 for the same amount. I'd go with whichever you like the taste of, the thought of SP on a shepherds pie is not appealing to me!0
