    Yay! Lost 1lb today!

Had wanted to lose 1.5lb to keep me on my target, but considering I thought I was going to have put on or at least stayed the same I was VERY pleased.

Thanks all for making me weigh in! I'd have just skipped it if it wasn't for your encouragement! :)

    And again for you too!

I watched My Big Fat Diet Show too - I'm not sure I completely agree with it all as once again they are only taking one thing into account - calories in this case. I think you need to look at the bigger picture and WW at least looks at calories and fat. However, it is interesting about the 'light' versions of stuff and when they rank certain foods in calorific value and also some of Matt Dawson's recipe's look great - think will go on the website and get them!

So far today I've had a cereal bar, WW cookies and an options hot choc = 3.5.

Going to Pizza Express for lunch, will have the Leggera Contadina pizza I think for 8.5

I'm just hoping for a STS this week (WI Saturday morning) as I haven't been great and I haven't done any exercise which is what really helps me. I must must must get back to the gym. Maybe I'll update my ipod for some motivation. And also my on/off OH is being a child and driving me to drink!! (Had big glass of delicious white chocolate vodka last night over crushed ice - any excuse )

Oooh I'm getting important at work! Getting my own laptop and phone plus a hell of a lot more work which is good cos there'll be no time to dip into the biscuit tin :-)

I've also just had a NSV when a colleague skyped me to ask my secrets in weightloss as he had just noticed!

And I was just thinking about something else on MBFDS. They want to drop a dress size in the 2 weeks but most were/are only planning on losing around 5lbs - is that a dress size for some people? I wish they'd taken their measurements as well to do an inchloss comparison.

If that was the case then I should be a size 4

    Right off to PE..

  • Poppie123: I was like that on Monday (Day1) espsically by 9pm tummy thought I'd gone on hungry strike and was rumbling away wanting me to eat something, but by last night (day 4) the 9 o'clk munchies didn't appear.

Well Done Superfran and Jamtart on your fabby loses
Had a good day yesterday managed to bank 3 points for tonights dinner & drinks so in total have 29 points to play with today.

    Yesterdays meals were:

    B: Bagel with Jam - 3.5
L: Crispbreads with Cream Cheese, S/F Jelly & WW Almond Slice - 4.5
    D: Stovies with Beans - 7.5
    S: Quavers & Milk for Coffee - 2.5

Posh dinner dance tonight, nails were done yesterday, hair getting done at 3pm just need to lose 6 stone by 7pm tonight and I'll be sorted . Nevermind I have my magic sucking in suit to wear under my frock, no sexy undies in the house JTB... Need all the help I can get from the wonderful M&S control underwear section. :D. It's a free bar so I can always drown my sorrows, oh and we're staying in a posh hotel FOC (work paying) and my mum has the kids for the night. Hmmm maybe the sexy undies would come in handy after all. ;);)

Hope you all have a good Friday evening and stay away from the fridge.

A dress size is usually 10lbs but in my case it's more round the 12-14lb mark before I notice and can move down to the next size. Can you tell that I've been there done that and failed. I've only ever managed to drop one size then failed miserably at the dieting lark and put the weight all back on again.

  • Hi All

I have been a very rubbish poster over the week, but i have been reading and keeping up with events.

Glad everyone seems to be doing ok. I have been struggling on and off but generally doing well. Its more a boredom thing with me.

Had a quick glance at the scales and they seem to be good but i won't count my chickens until sunday at wi.

I'm off to the gym tonight to pound that treadmill.

Congrats to all for the loses and I'll let you know how I get on, on sunday.

    Duckie

PS have discovered M&S count on us range, its 3 for 2 at the mo and they have all the points on the packets so you know exactly where you are and they seem to be better than the ww range, I'm having a filled Yorkshire with veg tonight for tea - 3pts. :-)
    To be figured out!

hey guys, sorry i've been a bit lurky the past few days! i did my little at-home weigh in today... lost 2lbs. this is good and on target but i'm a little confused as i expected to lose more based on past experiences. i don't think i've EVER had a whole week of sticking to points and not cheating before... and when i do i lose less weight!

oh well. its not a race i guess :) and like somebody said before (i've forgotten who!)- that's 2lbs i'll never see again! so now i am 12st 5lbs.
