hey everyone! feeling pretty happy this evening, just had lovely dinner for 3.5 points (chicken breast and loads of 0pt veg roasted with garlic and a little spritz of extra virgin olive oil. nom nom nom!)
overall for the week i am 0.5 points 'in credit'. not bad considering i thought i had a huge appetite! think my stomach has shrunk to the size it was meant to be :rotfl:
also just wanted to say well done cheeky and venus! and bigmommamuppet: don't worry about whingeing to us, that's what we're all here for!! i think all of us have times when we feel like that.
i don't know about anyone else but sometimes i feel like weight loss is made out to be the most important thing in the world, and it's really not (although obviously at the forefronts of our minds as we are attempting it!) i especially like this blog called big fat deal (!!) : http://www.bfdblog.com when i need a reality check.

I can't wait to start WW - question to everyone... do you find it easier to just buy the WW branded foods to keep track of points? And if so, do you find you are spending more than you would normally?
Which supermarket is the cheapest for WW foods and which has the best selection?Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500
Debt payments 2012 £433.270 -

Hi I hardly ever buy WW branded food apart from the yogurts the odd time. I just stand and point anything I'm going to buy in the supermarket... Takes me forever sometimes to do a shop.
I do notice I'm spending more as healthier items seem to come at a premium0 -

I have a target to lose 3.5 stone which seems such a long way off.
At the moment I feel ashamed to go out as I desperately hate the way I look, it is the biggest I have ever been. I actually feel embarrased picking up size 16/18 clothes.:o
The more fed up i get the more I eat and that seems to be the rut i have got myself stuck in.
My weight has been up and down like a yo you since I gave up smoking about 10 years ago, before that I never had a problem and was always a size 12 wherever I shopped.
I made the big mistake of taking slimming pills a few years back which although did shift all my weight as soon as i stopped them it all piled back on and a bit more for luck
I went to weightwatchers a couple of years ago and managed to lose just over a stone before i got bored and fell off the wagon so to speak.
I plan on joining again next wednesday but in the meantime want to try and do it on my own for a week.0 -
HI guys, been good this week, but I just know the scales are going to be awful to me tomorrow as it is that delightful totm and i always weigh loads more. Don't know whether to avoid the scales alltogether and just weigh in next week (if I put on tomorrow I'll be so devastated I'll probably just eat everything in site) or just be brave?

jamtart, be brave ! I was over Xmas and put on 8lb. It was a bit of a revelation for me because before I changed my way of thinking this time around on WW, I would NEVER have gone and got weighed.
You have a very good reason if you do put on a few lbs, try not to worry about it too much xx It happens to most of us !:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
Hello :hello:
I would love to join you all.
I have joined WW online, and at the moment have started doing the Simply Filling thingy. I have yet to master coming in under my points allowance yet, but am definitely improving.
The main breakthrough for me is that I'm recording everything I eat, so I'm staying positive that that's a great start.
I have already joined a gym, and started paying the sub, but need to get a doctor's letter before I can start, so will be calling the doc tomorrow.
My start weight is 10 st 7 lb, and I am aiming for 8 stone (only 5 ft 1, and was petite once upon a time).
Will it be dull if I post my food diary on here? I'll also post successful recipes when I get down to some cooking.
