My weigh in shows 1.5 pounds lost which I should be pleased with but Im falling behind on my challenge for valentines day!! The snow is to blame lol as means I cant get to the gym :-(

Oh and today on the roads is sheets of ice, so no chance of me attending my official weigh in tonight!!

    Morning all!

Actually managed to get into work today through 3 new inches of snow - only did it cos I'm going for promotion!! Brownie points and all that..

I did bad last night  really angry with myself but I just snacked all evening! Never mind, new day today and last night I made a big batch of prawn tikka masala as my own 'ready meals' which work out at 6 points inc rice so I have one for lunch today.

I forgot you could freeze crumpets! Doh! I am on 20 points a day, I want to get things moving, so would dropping to 18p a day be alright?

I agree with the others, although you can do 'fast start' for up to 2 weeks max before going back to your normal points. I think my leader said 2 weeks max..

    Hi Guys.

Need some advise on how to cut and peel a Butternut without losing fingers, I have been having problems !! (I can barely chop onions without losing fingers)

I have just about mastered the art of this but as Sian said you apparantly don't need to peel it. I peel it with a Y peeler, chop top and bottom off then halve lengthways. Scoop out the seeds and cut into chips.

No, no gym for me either and I really need to earn some activity points to work off my naughty binge last night.

No college (again) tonight so an evening in the house surrounded by food...grrr. I don't think I'll ever get to start college at this rate!!
Really should be doing some work...

Hi Guys just back from weigh in and I've lost -3.5lbs :j woohoo. Heres hoping it continues on.

Oh I had emailed WW about the Eating Out points portions they emailed me back and said the points where for the whole portion. I also asked my WW leader to see if she would say the same and she did :D.

Puddings, as you seem so good at it could you help me work out how to use this multi quote thing. I get that you click the button next to all the ones you want to quote but I don't get what to do then :)

I wonder if you could plan in a good treat for later in the evening and then stop yourself snacking by looking to that incentive. I also find sitting with loads of stuff on my knee stops be getting up to get snacks, e.g. laptop, knitting, paper crafts stuff, if my hands are busy I dont snack as much!

Its been a hard day today - am sick of this snow, the rotten journey to work and am craving a bit of comfort food. Have allowed myself a bit of chocolate... must make some jelly so tomorrow I can have a point-free treat. Really dreading the WI on Saturday.... booooo!
Sorry for my negative vibes - will be back on track again tomorrow ;)
