Ooh you all went missing and I didn't notice where you had gone! Hello new thread!
JAMTART6 and TARGET IS 1.5LB this week!

My target is to get down into the next 10's of pounds like from 151 to 149. I've made myself all these mini targets which a like "ooh only a 1lb to 7lb loss" and "get into the next 10's of pounds" "get into the next stone" "5% loss" and its helping to keep it in very small steps.

Wrote off the whole weekend and been eating home made soup a lot this week so I'm hoping to lose at least 1.5lb by Friday

Need to do my 30 mins of exercise too. Still poorly so walking only.

Well done jtb! 4lb is excellent!

Have my first weigh in tomorrow so pooping myself. Have been sticking to points no problems all week (yay).

Discovered the Oats so Simple sachets last night in tesco so have found somethigs else for breakfast other than wheatabix.

Have to do my wii fit later and need to make a no point mushroom soup.

I love OSS but I found it has alot of points in - well, more than I want to or can afford to use on breakfast :( So I've given it up and replaced it with Ready Brek :D I make it with water for 1.5pts and either eat it with added sweetner or cinnamon for no additional points :)

    Today I've eaten:
    Ready brek w/sweetner: 1.5pts
    Ryvita minis: 1.5pts
    WW macaroni cheese meal: 5.5pts
    = 8.5pts

Tonight for my tea I'm having:
    Medetteranean style chicken: 3pts
    WW chips: 2pts
    WW garlic ciabatta portion: 3.5pts
    Salad: 0pts
    = 8.5pts

Omnom :D So I have 3 points left to use throughout the day on whatever I fancy.

I made up 3 sugar free 0pts raspberry jellies lastnight and they're now set in the fridge for me to snack on. I find making them the night before perfect as they set overnight and I instantly have something with 0pts to nibble the next day :)

My only downfall is that I have an addiction to hopping on the scales :( I need to stop it!

Yes I do this although with my super duper new scales I have to press a button and wait for the zero's before hopping on so so far I haven't bothered! OMG I'm so lazy...!!
Really should be doing some work...

  • Hey everyone, I tried doing WW last year but couldn't get my head around the points after doing SW and i could eat in reason as much as i like. I enjoyed slimming world because i never went hungary but i ate far too much and with my ibs ended up not losing much weight and feeling bloated all the time. So this year i'm giving WW a try. This is my first week and to be honest i'm not finding it that difficult at the moment for breakfast i have OS with water and sweetner then for lunch i normally have a ready meal from WW as its easy being at work or a M/S one as they now have the points on. At nighttime i try having a difference recipe each night (something quick and easy still). I'm trying also to get back into my exercise went Body Attack last monday and yesterday and plan to go tomorrow, its slowly killing me but do feel better for doing it.

    Anyone good luck everyone.

Argh upsetting turn of events, I thought I was 10 stone, I'm actually 10 1/2 stone!!! Time to step this up a gear or 5... Tonight I'm going to do a work out video and NOT STOP until the end. I can't believe I let myself be so greedy in the past. :(

    Meals wise;

Yoghurt for breakfast (had a meeting so no time to eat something filling!) 1pt

Lunch - The 2nd half of my NCG Winter Veg with a poppy seed roll this time 5.5pts (going to skip the roll tomorrow!!)

And tonight I'm having a small portion of pasta (1pt) with 1/4 jar of dolmio tomato & cheese pasta bake (1.5pts) with a big portion of spinach.

I have a good sized banana to eat later (1.5pts)

Anyone else feeling like they're not doing enough? I feel like I should be starving when actually I'm eating very well and never hungry.

Its only half a stone more, and it will be the last time you see that last stone. You will do it Im sure.

This is the joy of WW. You can eat yummy filling foods and lose weight without feeling like you're starving yourself. There's nothing worse than feeling hungry, this is why most 'diets' don't work - however WW is a way of life, it's helping to train you to choose wisely with food, eat more of the right stuff, treat yourself once in a while, and never go hungry! :)

On another note..can anyone help me out here?

I'm having a bit of a problem with bread - the stuff you get from the bakery in supermarkets which comes in baggies that have no nutritional info on to point with. I've got a freezer full of buns, submarine rolls, tiger barms..a fabulous array of bread items..but.. how do I go about pointing this stuff?
