Think the tangerine and plum would be 0.5pt together as normally you get 2 of each one for 0.5. :) not sure about the anchor.

    Morning everyone!!

Have had such a busy week, been out for a meal with work and been out for drinking and a meal with all my friends last night, was worried would have a gain today but i DIDNT!! Lost 5.5lbs this week!! wasnt expecting that really was hoping for a sts the same with so much eating and drinking out this week. Made me realise i can still enjoy a social life but be careful what i choose. It might also help that last night i ate low carb and drank lots of alco which just went straight through me lol.

Anyway so far in the last 5 weeks have lost a total of 20lbs  i didnt even realised until i just calculated it now =D anyway hope everyone else has a brill wi x

    Hi,

been AWOL for a bit, a few ups and mostly downs with holidays and folks staying with us....you know what it's like. Have continued to track most of the time, though, and today's weigh in means I've lost 4kg out of the 7kg I had to lose when I joined the thread.

Am number 84 on the list, target 76kg, now weighting 79kg. Initially weighed 92kg when starting ww Jan09. Total lost 13kg.

Means I got to BMI of 25, mini-goal achieved!!! Have been there before in the last year, but then easily gained again. Therefore aiming for 1/2 stone below now, to give me a bit of lee-way.

Would like to share something that has helped me in the last 2 weeks: I have changed my weigh-in day. I'm doing ww online, and it's always been Monday am. Of course the week-end is my worst time, less structure to the day and less self-discipline. And if my weight is up/same Monday morning, even if I stuck to points because the heavier Sunday dinner +wine is still with me, well, that's totally demotivating.

Now I weigh Saturday am, so far it's worked. Am pleased with 0.8kg loss this week, feel good and eager to keep up the good work, and if I go over allowance this week-end, I have 5 days to make up for it.

have looked on esource weightwatchers site and found the points values:

tangerine - it says 2 portions (70g) is 0.5 points

plum - it says 3 small plums (no stones) is 1 point (approx 90g)

anchor spreadable - 1 teaspoon is 1 point

not scrolled over every post but I posted this a while back:

From my books etc from when I joined in February:

    If you are
    Male - score 9
    Female - score 3

    If you are
    16-20 - score 5
    21-35 - score 4
    36-50 - score 3
    51-65 - score 2
    over 65 - score 1

Ignore the lb the number of stones you weigh is the score for this question - ie - if you weigh 12st 4lb your score will be 12

    How tall -
    under 5ft4 - score 1
    5ft4 or above - score 2

In your day to day life are you:
sitting down most of the time - score 0
occassionally sitting, but mainly standing - score 2
walking most of the time - score 4
doing physically hard work most of the time - score 6

Now add the total score and thats your daily allowance

'even if your total adds upto less than 16 - your daily points allowance should be no lower than 16'
    Weight Loss - 102lb
  • Oh dear - I had an utterly dire weigh in on Friday just gone :(

    #17 you_wicked_gay
    WI 30/7 = +2lb (10st 12lb)

    Target loss 2010: -21lb by 25th December
    Current loss 2010: -18lb
    Overall loss: -71lb

Absolutely GUTTED to say the least. I didn't eat badly last week at all, but I knew this was going to happen for 2 reasons:

    1) The previous week I had been very poorly with flu, and had hardly eaten at all and therefore lost 2lb at my WI on the Friday as a result of this. This was completely out of the ordinary for me, as shifting a single 1lb is difficult for me now as my body seems to have slowed down on the weight loss.

    2) Warning: Possible too much information ahead...
On Friday just gone (30th) I hadn't been to the toilet for a number 2 for 4 days. My stomach was swollen, bloated, painful and heavy, and I simply couldn't go! Even 3 days worth of senokot max strength ontop of my daily benefiber dosage didn't help shift anything. Thankfully today my loo has seen some action and I'm moving in the right direction again - ahem -

So..going from eating a yogurt here and a cup-a-soup there for an entire week, to then returning to my full 18 points a day allowance..and adding in 4 days worth of backed-up food in my bowels..those 2lb added up nicely in my body's opinion (or not..in my opinion GRR!)

    - - -

Well I'm now drawing a line under this, as I can see exactly why I put those 2lb back on, and am simply back to where I was before I caught the hideous flu.

I'd say I'm 98% better now, with a few sniffles and splutters here and there, meaning I can get back to eating healthily. Also, my loo issue seems to be clearing itself up - note: I must remember to keep ontop of my benefiber intake to make sure this doesn't happen again!!

I've got my meals planned out for this week already, through to Friday, and I'm planning healthy options for my work lunches - couscous and chicken salads all the way I think..

Tomorrow I've got a mexican chicken flatbread wrap, yogurt & strawberry cornflake bar and a raspberry/mango water drink from Boots for my lunch wayhey!! :j

Sesame bagels (all different brands, nothing generic) seem to be 4 points, according to ww online. Plain bagels 3 points, seems heavy to cost an extra point just for a small amount of seeds. Hope this helps!
