Hi all, could I join you please?

I've been over on sw thread on and off for a while but can't seem to stick to it for one reason or another. Have my old books from ww so going to give this a go, from home at the minute until I can afford to go to class.

Hope you don't mind if I post my food diary for a while just until I get used to it.

My starting weight is 12st 2lb. I have lost 4lbs in the last few weeks but I think thats because I've been to skint to buy treats!

    Hi All

Weigh in tonight and I've lost 1/2 lb (no 94) on list. So I'm at 9 stone 1lb. I just need to jump that big wall and get into the 8 stone. Oh well there's always next week. :o)

I wonder if anyone can help. My husband has decided he wants to loose quite a bit of weight and I want to tone up after having our second baby. he did start ww some time ago and we had a book which helped us work out our points allowance and it had a guide about how many points were in everyday foods. I can't find another one online and wondered if it had all changed? Is there a book/guide which you can use from home (he won't go to meetings)?if so what is it called? We have a 3 year old so would like to put together my own recipes to suit us all really so we can still eat together. For example i could make a lasagne and break down values for all the ingredients and work out how to trim it down.

Would be so grateful for any advice so we can make a start! We'll then join this thread officially if we may:j

    Hiya,

well my wi wasn't as bad as I thought, even after our long weekend away and going out the night before wi and drinking a little bit more than I should I put on half a pound, am well pleased with that.

Thought it would be more like 3lb, but it has given me a taste of how much more I will be able to eat/drink after I have reached gold.

Strange comments from people at work though...ranged from oh dear never mind you will soon lose it to well you don't need to lose anymore. Does anyone else have the 'you don't need to lose anymore' comments? It annoys me as they don't wear my clothes! and doing ww you are never going to be allowed to lose more that you should!

Back on track now and am hoping for a loss next week, I am not far off what they say my gold weight is so am taking it slowly, no point starving myself to reach gold and then eating a bit more and gaining again.

Will be back on the wii next week, have given up on wii fit, it bores me, lets dance and dance broadway are doing it for me :D

My OH who is doing ww online has now lost 2st and am well proud of him. All my relatives who we saw at the weekend commented so much on his weightloss I was a bit miffed lol :D, no not really, I am very proud of him as being an HGV driver and away most of the week it is not easy for him, all those transport cafes dripping grease.

Our original target was to lose weight for my son's wedding Aug 2011 so we are on the right track. I helps that we are both doing it. Tomorrow I am cooking big roast for his kids, will do our roast potatoes separate and doing ww pancakes for pud, they can have cream etc and we will just have fruit on ours.
