Sesame bagels (all different brands, nothing generic) seem to be 4 points, according to ww online. Plain bagels 3 points, seems heavy to cost an extra point just for a small amount of seeds. Hope this helps!

    Thanks for that! x

Also has anyone got a nice recipe for home made tomato soup which is healthy and doesnt contain garlic? I really want to make some but normal recipes call for cream of some sort, which isnt very weight watching lol x

It is odd, but sesame seeds are so high in points! I made a stir fry recipe out of a magazine recently which called for a sprinkling of sesame seeds, and I was shocked when I worked out the points value. Dreadful!

It's funny how all these things that the media, supermarkets and health experts say are 'good for you', yet when you see the calorific values and hidden fat contents..it hardly seems worth it for the portion!

Seeds, beans and other healthy nibbles are loaded with points. Even though they may have health benefits, you really should only snack on them in moderation because they're loaded with natural fats and sugars boosting calories and it can be pretty shocking just how high in points these 'healthy foods' are

    Hi All

Weighed in yesterday and although I only lost 1/2 lb it takes me into the 8stone category (8 stone 13.5lb). Woo hoo. I had hit the wall at 9 stone and have never been under it (apart form primary school :o). Ok need to get to target now and get a lovely gold card. (no 94 on list)

    Thanks for your support

  • It's mighty quiet in here of late..I can only presume this is due to the kid's summer holidays?

I've got my WI tomorrow, not looking forward to it really, even though I know I've eaten well. Hmm :(

But after my WI it's treat day for me - can't bloody wait!! :D

I did WW successfully a couple of years back but since then some of the weight has crept back on as I have limited control over what I eat. However for the next three weeks I am able to prepare every meal in a proper kitchen. I was planning to follow the fast start plan/recipes for the three weeks to try and get back in the right mind set and change the direction of my weight. Does anyone know if there would be any problem with this? Its an 18pt plan and technically I should have 20pts - but for three weeks would it matter as its really just to retrain myself on portion sizes and sensible foods.

    Good luck Puzzles!

Weigh in yesterdays so-so, no loss, but as I had been bad (very bad, box of Thorntons:eek::eek:) and then trying to make good the damage :o, STS, still 79kg , am number 84 on list was as actually better than expected.

See you next week, hopefully back on track then.
