Hi, just found this thread. I've just joined WW online last night - got a stone and a half to lose (minimum, maybe more). I did WW a few years ago and got down almost to target but put it all back on again :-(
Is Cheeky still around? I was reading some of the earlier messages and saw that she likes Oat So Simple. If you're reading this Cheeky, I wondered what you make it with? Is it really yukky with skimmed milk?0 -

I'm in my 4th week now and have lost 8 pounds in total. I haven't been able to exercise (or even walk far) because of arthritis

Hopefully, I'll be able to do a bit more exercise as the weight comes off and my joints won't be so painful
Is it too late to join in? I need to lose 4 st 6 pounds in total0 -

Hi am deciding weather to join WW and wondered if it was possible to have a plan based mainly on the 'Heinz WW' brand as I am going to be a solo slimmer
Many thanksFailure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.

Hi Crisp,
It would definately be possible, although im not sure you would only want to eat the ready meals for the rest of your life.
Could you try making some of the meals and just seperating them into portions and freezing the extras?

I would eventualy its just a quick start until I get my confidence at cooking! Although a lot of the stuff is quite expensive for what it is. Especialy considering I have to feed hubby also (and he's a fussy eater NO fruit and very limited veg (spuds (variety of ways), carrots and peas and wizzed tomatoes).

Sounds like a planI have them every now and again when im out and about
Just in case it helps - Iceleand and Farm foods sell the meals for £1 each, well, some of the more popular ones, others are about £1.50, they do the ice creams and things as well.
Also, Tesco have a load of their healthy range on for £1 (only in the freezers) and there is much more variety on the cheaper ones - they do seem to have slightly more points by one or two but a bit less salt but they are just as tasty(and they have the points printed on them as well)
Check out the whoopsie sections too - we managed to get a couple of packs of WW Dough balls (oo er mrs) from Sainsbury for £0.49 per pack and they have gone in the freezer for another day
Ooooh, and as for the OH, could you pick him up some ready meals as well and see if he likes them then you can eat together? they have the old favourites - lasagne, hot pot, curry etc
Failing that, just remember that you are doing this for you, and that his food is no where near as good as the way you will feel when you have lost

RIGHT.... I've rejoined WW after letting myself slip last time & putting on a couple of pounds.
So fresh beginning...
Start - 10stone
Finish - 8st 12lbs
I'm 5ft 4 so my goal weight is well within the healthy range & was my weight pre boyfriend and before discovering the amazing Chinese that delivers. Boo hoo!!
Anyway I have 19pts a day and I've only used 13.5pts today but feeling full so won't eat for the sake of it.0
