Hi. WI this morning, and this week lost 1 whole pound! Has been trickling off at half a pound a week for the past few weeks, so this is good! Only got 4 lbs to do to get to goal, but have lost 49.5 lbs since starting in October 2009 - gone from size 18 to size 12!

It's all my little sister's fault! She looked at our holiday photos last year & then asked if I'd like to go to weightwatchers with her....

(she has lost over 4 stone so has done brilliantly - really inspired me to keep going!)

Hi all- can I join too?
I have toyed with the idea of dieting for ages now (and I REALLY need to do more than toy with it!!). I have got 4 st to loose (gulp!) and the time has come to knuckle down. I had that lightbulb moment last sunday and amazingly it has stayed "lit" all week! I have stuck to it religiously (am doing it at home myself cus I cant afford the weekly fee) and am hoping for a decent kick start loss when I weigh in on Monday. I did WW 10 years ago and lost 3 1/2 st and have still got the points planner etc. I know things have changed but its a starting point for me. I have got to get my mojo back (have been ill with pneumonia since Feb this year) and losing weight is the first step. I have checked with my GP who sees no problem with me doing WW, although she has advised me to eat as many iron rich foods as possible as I have anemia. Any ideas/suggestions?
I would love to be able to dip in and get inspiration and ideas from everyone- last time I did WW my sister did it with me which was fantastic from a motivational point of view, but so far she hasnt had the lightbulb moment- so I am on my own!
"Flubber" be gone- a new thinner, fitter me is what I want to achieve! Its "only" 4 st away!
    lovin' this site!

well i am on day 4 of WW today. i have been really good and have been coming in below my points each day

my problem seems to be variety of foods, i seem to be eating a lot of chicken - with salad, with veg etc and need some inspiration!
what are you all on today? x

I know this feeling, we seem to eat the same set of meals each week in a different order for tea. Good job I like the stuff we have really ;) haha!

Try getting in some lean minced beef - we only ever buy the Tesco 'Healthy Living' stuff. It comes in at 3 points per 1/4 pack and is so versatile!

We use it to make spaghetti bolognaise, lasgna, cottage pie and beef chilli. I'm sure there's loads more you can do with it (that I can't think of right now!) and it's full of flavour! :o

    Today I've had so far:

    Breakfast:
    30g bran flakes w/ 125ml semi-skimmed milk: 2.5pt
Small carton of orange juice: 1pt

    Dinner:
    Boots meal deal consisting of..
Shapers Red thai chicken wrap: 3.5pt
    Shapers Onion rings crisps: 1pt
Shapers raspberry & mango still water: 0pt

And tonight I'll be tucking into:

    Tea:
    Minced beef chilli: 5.5pt
    Brown rice: 3pt

    ---

1st June is my New Years Resolution deadline of 11st 2lb (which I'm already currently smashing!) - and I've been promised that if I am at my 6 month goal weight (11st 2lb), or below, I will be treated to lunch at my favourite restaurant Chiquito :D

Fingers crossed I'll stay below that 11st 2lb marker! For me really, secretly, my goal is to stay at 11st exactly (my last weigh in weight) for when I weigh in on Tuesday - as this would really be a super sweet end to 6 months of hard work!! :D
