I have gained 1lb this week which I'm not at all surprised at. Darn Sainsbury's and their Wine and Dine offer! Have been back on the vino plus the desserts. Never mind, think I have this out of my system and will crack on.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

(Gok Wan would have a field day with my wardrobe - nothing fits and I never want to buy anything new because of all the weight I am planning to lose!!) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Elfgirl that's so like me, and I bet we're not the only ones! My weight has gone steadily up over the last few years so I now have a wardrobe full of clothes that I never wear ranging from size 12 to 18. I don't want to throw them out because I'm convinced one day I will diet back into them, and likewise I don't like buying loads of stuff in the size I am now (18-20) because that's like admitting that I am actually this big, and anyway I'm always just on the verge of losing about 5 stone! :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I have a pair of horrible size 10 red shell trousers that I bought from Topshop in 1997 - they didn't fit me then and they certainly dont fit me now but I refuse to throw them out!! I thought they were the dogs at the time though and planned "to slim into them" as they were in the sale and they never had a 12 (which I was at that time). They are horrendous but its the principle!!
I'm a 14-16 but dont own anything in a 16 - if the 14 doesnt fit, I dont buy it. Although I have found that since I have turned 30 and started shopping more in M&S, Debenhams and Next and not Topshop etc that clothes seem to fit better and I dont come out feeling so harrassed and upset because nothing fits.
Have started well this morning, weetabix and milk, about to go swimming and then come home and blitz the house for some extra activity points - find it's a lot easier to stick to plan when I'm not working. I work short term contracts so live away from home a lot which is a NIGHTMARE for tying to stay on plan.
Having a bit of banter about it seems to be helping me focus as well so thanks guys!!
Blah - hope you feel better soon hun, its hard enough without feeling poorly on top. Well done you for sticking to plan xx0 -
I've just had a fry up! Sounds naughty but I had Sainsbury's 'be good to yourself' bacon (half a point per rasher), Weightwatchers bread (half a point per slice), Branston baked beans (2.5 points for half a large can) and a poached egg (1.5 points). Total = 7 points :T
Get me! lol0 -
Torn.
Been BAD all weekend with eating (although done some gym work and running). AND am on my period. It's WI tomorrow and I really don't want to go. Am monthly pass so I have paid anyway so I won't save anything by not going.
WHat to do what to do. It's a bind going with both kids (oldest 27 moths youngest 9 months) so its not easy to nip in and out and as I will have put weight on I don't feel like making the effort.
But I may need the shouting at!0 -

Just go and face the music. You can start a fresh after your WI tomorrow and make a real effort this week xx0 -
Hi, I've been lurking for the last week or so and would like to join you all if that's okay. I started WW 2 1/2 weeks ago. Lost 3lb in the first week and 1lb last week. Had a party on Saturday, and then a nasty hangover to feed yesterday, so not holding out great hopes for losing this week. I have been very good today though and will easily save some points towards the weekend's naughtiness.
I have decided to try to meal plan as I'm off work this week so more prone to snacking and eating rubbish. I've been taking note of your recipes and hints and tips and hope to make good use of them.

Ooops, hopefully today will be more successful for you. I find that eating a large breakfast helps you keep on track too. I try and have a 6 point breakfast. I usually have a bowl of cereal for 4 points, 2 slices of w.w. toast for 1 point (another pt for marg and milk in my cup of tea!) and sometimes I have a carton of orange juice too for 2 points! it's a lot but keeps me full from 6am until 1pm at lunch time.
What size carton / brand do you have? I have a small 200ml carton of tesco value OJ every morning with my breakfast and there's only 1 point in itI've just had a fry up! Sounds naughty but I had Sainsbury's 'be good to yourself' bacon (half a point per rasher), Weightwatchers bread (half a point per slice), Branston baked beans (2.5 points for half a large can) and a poached egg (1.5 points). Get me! lol
What amount of beans is this? I only ever buy the weight watchers kind, and in half a tin there is only 2 points
Also be careful when it comes to the thin 'danish' type weight watchers bread. The packaging states that there is only 1/2 point per slice, but if you work out the points for 2 slices using the nutritional info, you'll find that 2 slices = 1.5 points (boo weight watchers being sneaky!)
I only have 19 points to use a day, so I do try to scrimp and save the odd half a point here and there as those 0.5's really do add up!:heartsmil Proud Weight Watcher :heartsmilStart Weight: 15st 13lb Current Weight: 10st 5lbTotal Loss to Date: 5st 8lb- - -Current 2011 Goal: Lose 8lb by 25th DecemberLoss This Week: -3 Total Loss 2011: -30 -

WI at the weekend -1lb so 13/103 only 90lbs left to go!
you_wicked_gay When I was pregnant I was.... blocked up and found that prunes/dates/fresh orange juice (not from concerntrate) were the best at helping things along. Alongside fibre, and water. There is a drink - fybogel that I was recommended but I never tried as prune juice worked fine for me lol.
