wow:T
whats your secret? Do you exercise or just diet?
Sarah
its no secret lol, just stick to the points, maybe try to save 1 or 2 for a bit of a boost. exercise is however a neccessary evil - i go to the gym for 2 hours once or twice a week but i think its more to do with doin more things and differently. like in work (boots - baby dept and chillers) i used to leave the cases of juice for the nite guys to lift and put away but now i do it and its helpin my bingo wings lol, oh and takin the stairs instead of the lift, walking to work even though they provide a taxi, etc. i dont have to think about doing those things as much now as they become second nature so its not as daunting as the gym lol. good luck and hope this maybe helps you.
purplestar :staradminmoney cant buy you love....why cant i have both???currently watching my weight go down....59.5 lbs so far :j0 -
boooo!!! got up this morning thinking it was saturday (got the day off work!) so jumped on the scales and not lost anything this week
think I need to up my water intake - im so bad at not drinking enough!!
as for No.2's - I find that if I dont drink milk I dont go for a day or 2 (and it also helps me use my points as Im not eating enough enough points...!!)0 -
I joined Weightwatchers on Wednesday so am just beginning my weight loss journey
I'm very motivated though and (despite having only done it for 2 days) very determined to lose weight. At my first meeting/weigh-in I was 18st 3lbs and my first goal is to lose 5%. I'm really hoping that I've lost something in my first week as I'll be gutted otherwise because I'm really trying!

Thanks for the reply.
I have started walking everywhere so hopefully start get a little fitter soon. My local gym is being built again at the moment but should be ready in the next month or so, so will start swimming because I really enjoy that.
So proud of myself, just been for a "quick drink" after work and stayed on the diet coke - anyone that knows me knows that is sooo not me. I'm usually more of a larger bird. The best part was, I didnt mind. Starting to feel my clothes getting a little bigger and people are commenting on how good i'm looking so its starting to work!!:D

I've got a VERY long way to go if I'm to get to the 'healthy' weight for my height, age, gender (5ft 10, 28, Male). Apparently, I should be between 9-13 stone! I don't think I've ever been that! Even as a kid lol0 -

I cant believe the ideal weights, i dont think there will be anything left of me if I ever got to it. I can't imagine myself 6 stone lighter :rotfl:Think i will be happy with a couple of stone to be honest.0 -

My ultimate goal is around 14st as I'm a 'large' person and anything less I just look plain ill :rotfl:0 -
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to check in and say hiya to everyone. I don't post much as I am often on the BR forum but I do read and send my best to everyone on here all the time.
I have now lost 20 pounds and just 8 pounds to go until goal (as everyone will know, only 8 1lbs is still an awful lot to lose when its the final bit)
I am hoping to lose it all by the start of the world cup when the social life comes back and I will need to buy some new jeans etc!!
I hope that everyone is well and reaching whatever goals they haveDischarged May 20100 -
Well only 0.8 of a pound for me today. So thats just under 11 pounds to go till my target. I think this last stone is going to be the hardest to shift as Im within a healthy range now but want to be further down in the range.0
