Okay so, I have my WI tomorrow, but I have a bit of a personal problem that I was wondering if anyone could help with.
If you're easily offended or embarressed, you probably should skip this post of mine haha :rotfl:
I seem to have a big problem with going to the toilet for a no 2.
I'm lucky if I manage to go twice a week by natural means, as once a week seems to be my average. I've used senokot on quite a few occassions now to help things along as after a few days I feel sluggish, bloated and get stabbing abdominal cramps and nausea.
I drink a carton of orange juice every morning for my breakfast, and eat a fair amount of raisings, cranberrys and other fruit bars, and vegetables are additions to pretty much all of my meals. So..where am i going wrong?
I don't want to end up relying on senokot tablets to give me a somewhat artificial 'regular' rythem.
Are there any foods that can help? Or should I consider seeing a doctor about this problem?:heartsmil Proud Weight Watcher :heartsmilStart Weight: 15st 13lb Current Weight: 10st 5lbTotal Loss to Date: 5st 8lb- - -Current 2011 Goal: Lose 8lb by 25th DecemberLoss This Week: -3 Total Loss 2011: -30 -
Don't feel embarrassed about that and I am sure no one is offended. I doubt you are the only one, just that you are the bravest to mention it , haha.
I would always say loads of fruit and veg to help, but saying that , I find I am weeing all the time with all this fruit and veg , always have eaten my 5 a day and more , but seem to be eating stacks more fruit and veg than ever. A cereal breakfast always keeps me regularish, e.g Fruit n Fibre or weetabix ( if it is ice cold milk and I eat it quick before it goes soggy)l and a wholemeal bread sarnie lunchtime, which is why I am loving this diet, as it allows me to have both. You are right not a good idea to rely on a laxative , but it is damn awful feeling when you haven't been for a while. Try adding a bit more fibre to your diet, leaving skin on things as well , like spuds etc.0 -

I always eat ready brek for breakfast as if I make it up with water it's only 1.5 points (i hate the idea of using points on milk in cereal argh!) but I guess if it will help should really buy myself some fibre based cereal. I do like wheetabix so I wouldn't have a problem with eating thoseI think I'll have to have a look at what fibre based cereals are available in Tesco and see what takesmy fancy.
My stomach is completely and utterly bloated up this morning. It's my WI and I have weighed myself today and had a loss, BUT I still haven't been to the toilet, so I'm sure if I went I'd have lost a bit more! Irritating :heartsmil Proud Weight Watcher :heartsmilStart Weight: 15st 13lb Current Weight: 10st 5lbTotal Loss to Date: 5st 8lb- - -Current 2011 Goal: Lose 8lb by 25th DecemberLoss This Week: -3 Total Loss 2011: -30 -
Okay so I had my WI this morning
I lost - 1lb meaning I'm now 11st 3lb :j
My new years resolution was to lose 14lb before June first..so this now means I only have 1 more lb to go to hit that targetIf I hit it before my deadline, I'm then going to aim for 11st exactly by june 1st

you wicked gay - i have found that sainsburys basic wheat biscuits have 0.5pt less than 2 weetabix (both with semi skimmed milk) and i think they were 74p for a pack if 36! Bargain!!
plus they are fortified with all the extra vits & minerals
sorry i cant help with your no2 issue - im like clockwork thankfully! i do find if i dont drink enough water i tend to struggle a bit!
ive been really bad all week since WI on tue so im nearly certain i will put on this tue coming! out for dinner & drinks 2nite so it will have to wait until 2moro before i start making up for my laziness!
anyone recommend any exercised to do at home? or any fitness dvds? im a 23 yr old female so open to suggestions!x0 -
I'm just about to take a look at what Tesco has to offer on the fibre cereals front (I'm sadly loyal to tesco as I'm addicted to collecting their clubcard points for everything i buy haha!)
I think I need to up my game on the water front. I only ever drink robinsons sugar free orange squash, and do drink a fair bit, however I probably could do better so I will definitely get on that today!
We all have our bad weeks credit_crunch, we just have to pick ourselves up and think about our goal and get back into the mind set of meeting that target
As for exercise, do you have a Wii? I recently 'borrowed' my brothers Wii and Wii fit board (since he got an xbox which he cannot be teared away from!) and have been using that to get some fun exercise into my day.
As for exercise dvds..I bought the Claire Richards '5 step fat attack' dvd off ebay for pretty cheap and LOVE it!(I was a huge steps fan in my younger years haha)

i too was once loyal to tesco - not anymore tho - started doin a weekly shop in sainsburys and wouldnt ever go back to tesco!
the nectar points suit me better - you dont get vouchers regularly so you decide when you want to redeem points! just to confirm i work for neither supermarket mentioned lol!
i dont have a wii but my mum does and she is off on hols for 2 weeks 2moro so i might pop round to hers a few times and take advantage!
will have a look at that claire from steps one!0 -
If you can rob the Wii then it may be worth it. The Wii fit balance board allows you to play the Wii Fit games - I'm addicted to the hula hooping game. I probably look like a sack of spuds winding my hips like a crazy person with legs made of rubber, but by god i can feel it working the day after lol
Tesco have me under their thumb I think. I refuse to buy anything elsewhere because I'm not getting points (unless it's a whole lot cheaper haha!)
