Can I just introduce myself to you friendly lot.
Hi all, I joined Weight Watchers on line this morning. Used the Topcashback site as recommended and got my £30 cashback , so actually even got paid a few pence for joning 3 months on line, bargain.
Never done WW before ,tried Slimming World a few times but never kept to it , a bit faddy, hated the meetings too, so thought I would do WW online. Finding I have spent most of the day on it though as you have no hard copy as if you went to class, hope pc doesn't go on me , I will be right up the creek. Got quite a bit to loose, realistically I would like to lose 3 stone but if I could get 2 stone off I would be a lot happier.Had a bit of a shock too, I have always said I am 5ft 5 1/2 and never checked for years, and I was a few years back, I must have shrunk cos today I measured myself and I am 5ft 4 1/2 so actually makes my BMI worse than I thought .Today I am motivated , hope it lasts.:j

Everyone is doing fantastic on here. It’s my WI tomorrow and I have been bad over the weekend so not looking forward to it!

I seem to be fine when I can plan my meals and I’m at home or work, I just really struggle when I’m out and about. Does anyone have any tips for me on this? I have managed to kick the unhealthy snacking at work, just trying to kick it at the weekend now.

Keep up the great work everyone!

    Sarah

Lost another 1.5pts this week :D

But sadly I've had a rubbish day. Car was in the garage and cost a lot more than expected to fix. Feeling sorry for myself so have ordered PizzaHut pizza mia so only the small one with a salad and diet coke. It's either 3.5 or 4pts a slice. Still got 10 pts so use today after having toast (1.5pts) for brekkie and veggie wrap for lunch (5pts).

I'm now on 17pts per day. Things were so much easier when I had 19pts to play with!!

wi 2day for me so thats another 0.5lb off for me - not great but since last tuesday i have had chippy, chinese, dominoes pizza, and pizza hut pasta dish!

im just kinda tiddling along at the mo but think if i manage to lose 0.5lb a week i will be happy and im sure i wont notice much difference with my eating habits.

my goal is lose a stone, but our leader has asked us to set mini goals, so 3.5lbs is my 1st goal reached - a quarter of a stone! lets hope i stick at the same rate and i will defo be that stone lighter by the time my vegas holiday comes round!

well done to everyone else who lost or sts

    WI today.

    -1lb for me which brings me to a total of -7.5lb :T since joining classes and including the WW online I did before it's a wopping 33lb :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T

All in right direction if a little slower nowadays. I AM due on ladytimes tomorrow or thursday so I consider that to be a good result :)

Oh and my goal weight is 11st 6lb which is BMI 25 so I have less to lose than I think to get to gold!!! Could you please update it on the first page??

I may pick a lower goal after that but my main goal at the mo is to NOT PAY!!

Feeling very depressed now - I've just weighed myself after my first week on WW and as far as I can tell I've lost a grand total of...nothing :( Scales are only cheapo non-digital ones so it's not that easy to see the exact weight but I reckon the needle's still exactly where it was a week ago.

What am I doing wrong? I ate all my points in the course of the week - a couple of times carried over 2 or 3 to the next day but that's it, and I've been really careful about counting everything and weighing things out instead of just guessing at portion sizes whilst I get used to everything.

The weird thing is I feel like I've lost weight as my stomach looks way less bloated than when I started, so I thought I would have lost a couple of pounds of water retention at the very least.

I'm so fed up now I feel like all the hard work has been for nothing
