Hi. I found that in the first few weeks the weight came off much easier than it does now, with about a stone to go (almost 3 gone already) But now it is much slower, in the past couple of weeks I have only gone down by half a pound a week :-(

But on the subject of exercise, I hadn't done anything much until the last couple of weeks, since when I have been going out in the morning 3 times a week, not quite a run, but getting there! I have been following the Couch to 5k running plan. You walk for a certain amount of time, then run, then walk etc... It's about half an hour, & builds up the amount you run so eventually should be able to run the lot! (a long way off for me yet!) Anyway, up at 5.30 & out by 1/4 to 6 - to the next village & back - a mile each way - back for breakfast by 1/4 past 6.

It's amazing how much fitter I feel (but hasn't helped me to get those last few pounds off any quicker!!!!)

i managed to lose it by being really really careful, counting everything but also having the odd treat, done more exercise and more on the wii fit and one of the main things was not having a migraine at all in this week:D

hey good luck with ww! the one thing i do or dont do as it happens is weigh myself between classes! it has never been the same measurements for me!

no point veg can be carrots, celery, tomatoes, peppers, brocilli & cauliflower, salad veg - lettuce, onion cucumber & tomatoes, for snacks i sometimes have 10 green olives which as 0.5pt or sugar free jelly which also doesnt have any points. be careful as veg like peas, beans & sweetcorn all have points

as far as i know most fruit will have points, but blueberries/strawberries are about 0.5pt for approx 100g which can be good. or mandarin oranges are around 0.5pt as well

you should get a food in full section in you folder when you signed up which lists most foods

hope this helps and hope you do well in your first weigh in x

Thank you for replying, I'm really pleased, I lost 4.5lbs at my weigh in, I've been really happy since and I'm looking forward to next week. I've only felt hungry once and that was when I skipped breakfast as I had to be somewhere. I always thought 'diets' were torture sessions where you couldn't eat anything nice at all and you were miserable forever! I know the focus is on healthy eating as opposed to a diet and it's great because I get to be a bit more creative about what I eat and what substitutes I have too but don't feel denied. Good luck and well done to everyone :j

Just had a lovely huge weight watchers pizza for myself, was only 7 points. I got it from ASDA. Teamed it with a cheese and chive jacket 3 points and a mini milk for dessert. Feel full now!

Hi all, a quick post from me as I'm rushed off my feet ! Been away on hols and now back and having to make the most of the weather and get our allotment up to scratch !

Still here and plodding along although I've only been trying to maintain what with holidays and visiting relatives.

But, back on the wagon as of Friday and I want to get a stone off before our August hols. I haven't had chance to catch up with you all so I hope all is well and well done's and comiserations where appropriate. I'll try and get first page updated within the next few days ........... I'm wondering if it might be a bit easier on me if everyone could just post their total weight loss? I'll try and update once a week then as I'm having trouble keeping up with you all :o
